Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic calls TE Isaiah Likely “the talk of camp.” Zrebiec expects the rookie 4th-round pick to see a lot of time in the slot and hold a “major part” in the 2022 offense. In other words, look for Baltimore's rate of 2-TE sets to rise. There are certainly targets up for grabs in a unit that’s thin at WR. Likely isn’t a high-end athlete and goes nearly 6’5, 245 pounds, but he emerged from Coastal Carolina with a huge career line of 133-2,050-27. Likely at least needs to be on the radar in FFPC leagues.
Ravens TE Isaiah Likely caught 5 of 6 targets for 70 receiving yards and a TD in Week 15 vs. the Jaguars. The second-year pass-catcher has stepped up well in the place of injured teammate Mark Andrews (ankle) over the past three weeks, leading the team in receptions (14) and receiving yards (193) and ranking second in targets (19) in that span. He’ll have a tougher time next week vs. the 49ers (fourth in pass-defense DVOA in 2023), though Likely will remain within the TE1 discussion because of his usage.
Ravens TE Isaiah Likely drew just 1 target in Sunday's win over the Texans, despite TE Mark Andrews being inactive. Likely caught that lone target for 4 yards. TE Charlie Kolar also drew 1 target, which fell incomplete. QB Lamar Jackson attempted just 22 passes. Only WR Zay Flowers (10 targets) drew more than 3 targets. Don't plan to use Likely in Week 2, even if Andrews remains out.
Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (ankle) practiced all week and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll be back for Sunday’s game against the Broncos but isn’t a viable fantasy play.
Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (ankle) was a full-go in Thursday's practice, putting him in line to return for this weekend's game vs. the Broncos. Likely isn't a viable fantasy play, but his presence takes TE Josh Oliver out of consideration in even the deepest of fantasy leagues.
Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That gives him a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Broncos, but we'll track the rookie's progress over the next few days.
