In a game that lasted all of regulation and overtime, Bengals QB Joe Burrow tallied 338 yards and 2 TDs on 33 of 53 passing. Burrow added 4 INTs and took 7 sacks despite facing pressure on only 14.1% of his dropbacks, per TruMediaSports. Adding 47 rushing yards, Burrow really delivered for fantasy owners. His decision-making must get cleaned up, though. One particularly late throw to the outside was returned for 6 by S Minkah Fitzpatrick. Note that Burrow lost WR Tee Higgins to a concussion in the 1st half, making him questionable for a Week 2 matchup at Dallas.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow will undergo surgery on his right wrist on Monday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Burrow is expected to make a "full recovery for the 2024 season," Rapoport adds. Burrow's 2023 campaign was haunted by injuries: first a calf, then the wrist. He reminded us of his upside with a brilliant three-game stretch from Week 8 to 10, though, racking up 978 yards and seven TDs on a 74% completion rate and 8.4 yards per attempt. It doesn't sound like the wrist will be a concern in 2024 and beyond. There could be a buying opportunity right now on Burrow in dynasty leagues.

McCarron (practice squad). Browning was abysmal in relief of Burrow in Baltimore on Thursday night, completing eight of 14 passes for 68 yards (4.9 YPA). It's about the biggest QB downgrade imaginable and awful news for Bengals pass catchers. The offense figures to lean more on the running game going forward, but we still wouldn't consider this an upgrade for RB Joe Mixon because the Bengals will struggle to sustain drives and score points under Browning.

Bengals HC Zac Taylor said after Thursday night's loss to the Ravens that QB Joe Burrow is believed to have a sprained right wrist. "Fell on it early in the game and then felt it on the touchdown pass," Taylor said. Burrow was spotted with a wrap on that wrist prior to Thursday's game but was not listed on the Week 11 injury report. He had a "multi-layered" wrap on the wrist after the game, according to ESPN's Ben Baby. Burrow is scheduled for an MRI on Monday, so we should get more details on the injury over the next 24 hours. Bengals QB Joe Burrow hurt his right hand or elbow in the second quarter of Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens. The TV broadcast showed Burrow trying to throw on the sidelines but unable to grip the ball. He immediately headed back to the locker room. We'll update Burrow's status when we know more. It’s evident at this point that he’s over that right calf injury that slowed him down early in the year. Over the past four games, Burrow ranks fourth in passing yards per game (283.2), third in fantasy points per game (21.8), and first with 2.5 passing TDs per game. The former No. 1 overall pick can now be safely treated as a high-end QB1 regardless of matchup.
