RB Elijah Mitchell drew just 3 carries against Cincinnati after 1 against the Browns in Week 7. So it's not as though McCaffrey is ceding more work to teammate. If San Francisco can rebound after the Week 9 bye, McCaffrey's rushing workload would seem in line to rebound as well.
