Jaguars QB Mike Glennon will start against the Browns this weekend, HC Doug Marrone announced on Wednesday. QB Gardner Minshew evidently isn't ready to return from his thumb injury, and the Jags have seen enough of QB Jake Luton. Glennon at least has 801 NFL pass attempts under his belt, completing 61% and averaging 6.4 yards per attempt. He's not a Week 12 fantasy option but should be an upgrade over Luton.

The forecast for today's Jaguars-Packers game calls for sustained winds of 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Temperatures will be in the mid-30s with a chance of snow showers. Those are obviously tough conditions for the passing and kicking games. We've updated our Jaguars and Packers projections.

Jaguars HC Doug Marrone said Monday that QB Jake Luton will "likely" start against the Packers this weekend. QB Gardner Minshew is expected to remain sidelined with his thumb injury. Luton flashed in his debut yesterday, notably on a 73-yard TD strike to WR D.J. Chark. But he graded out just 21st among QBs on the week, according to Pro Football Focus. Luton remains just a lower-end QB2 for Week 10.

A member of Jacksonville's practice squad tested positive for COVID on Friday night, the team announced. The Jaguars are still planning on playing vs. the Lions on Sunday, but the situation obviously bears monitoring over the next 24 hours.
