Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. We've still heard no concern from the team or media about Andrews' status for this weekend's game vs. the Browns, but check back tomorrow for another update.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews did not practice on Wednesday and is on the injury report with a knee. There's been no word on an injury, so our guess is that this is more of a rest day. We'll get another update on Andrews tomorrow.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews caught 7 balls or 106 yards and Baltimore's only passing TD in Sunday's loss to the Giants. His 11 targets marked 34.4% of QB Lamar Jackson's 32 attempts for the game, and his yardage a little more than half of the team total. WRs Devin Duvernay and Demarcus Robinson tied for 2nd on the team with 5 targets apiece. Robinson caught 3 for 27 yards, while Duvernay snared just 1 for 14 yards. Baltimore gets the Browns in Week 7.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews rebounded from a Week 4 dud to post 8-89-1 against Cincinnati. Curiously, he was left wide open for his 4th TD of the year. His 10 targets represented an excellent 31% team share. It was the type of usage you'd expect, especially with Rashod Bateman (foot) sidelined. Of course, regardless of Bateman’s Week 6 status vs. the Giants, Andrews will remain an elite TE1. He’s 2nd at the position in PPR points per game.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson threw for just 144 yards and a TD in Sunday's rain-soaked loss to the Bills, adding a pair of INTs. WR Rashod Bateman led the team in targets (6) but caught just 3 balls for 17 yards. TE Mark Andrews managed only 2 receptions for 15 yards among 5 targets. WR Devin Duvernay matched that target count and caught 4 passes for a team-high 51 yards. Jackson rebounded his fantasy line somewhat with 73 rushing yards on 11 attempts.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews racked up 8-89-2 receiving on 13 targets in Sunday's win over the Patriots. That accounted for 44.8% of QB Lamar Jackson's total pass attempts, with just 1 other Raven topping 2 targets. That was WR Rashod Bateman, who caught 2 of 4 looks for 59 yards. WR Devin Duvernay and TE Josh Oliver snagged Jackson's other 2 TD passes. New England ranked among the league's toughest matchups for TEs last season. Although the Pats missed S Kyle Dugger in this game, let the result remind you that we need not fear matchups when it comes to Andrews. Bateman will generally find more favorable conditions than he had Sunday.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson delivered big numbers in Sunday's come-from-ahead loss to the Dolphins. He ran for 119 yards on 9 attempts, with most of that coming via his 79-yard TD dash in the 3rd quarter. Jackson also racked up 318 yards and 3 TDs through the air, finding TE Mark Andrews, WR Rashod Bateman and WR Demarcus Robinson for scores. Bateman (4-108) and Andrews (9-104) each delivered big lines, combining to claim 62% of Jackson's targets for the game.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews led the Ravens in targets and receptions in Sunday's 24-9 win at the Jets, but he supplied a somewhat quiet 5-52 receiving line. Worst of all, he watched all 3 of Lamar Jackson's TD passes go to teammates. Although mildly frustrating for fantasy owners, there's nothing worrisome here. Andrews accounted for 23.3% of Jackson's pass attempts in the game.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) is INACTIVE for today’s game vs. the Bears. QB Tyler Huntley gets his 1st career start. Huntley went undrafted out of Utah last year and has attempted just 16 NFL passes. He completed a solid 67.2% of his college passes with 46 TDs to 20 INTs. Huntley also ran for 1,146 yards and 16 scores at Utah and is a 95th percentile athlete for his position. There’s rushing upside here, but Huntley is a clear downgrade for Baltimore’s passing game.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh announced Friday that TE Nick Boyle is going on "short-term" IR, according to the team website. The move comes as Boyle continues to work back from the knee injury that ended his 2020 season and required offseason surgery. That Baltimore activated him off the PUP about a week before the start of the regular season indicates that the Ravens expect him back within the 1st 6 games. Boyle doesn't carry much fantasy significance on his own, but his absence can only help the snap and target volume for TE Mark Andrews.

The Ravens have agreed to a 4-year extension with TE Mark Andrews. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that it will average $14 million. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that $37.6 million of the $56 million is guaranteed. This doesn't change anything for Andrews' fantasy outlook, other than to assure he stays in Baltimore for a while.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews needed to be helped off the practice field Thursday morning, but it doesn't sound like it'll be a lingering issue. HC John Harbaugh said afterward that Andrews was dealing with "some pretty serious cramping," thanks to a spike in humidity. Andrews got fluids via IV but should rebound quickly.

According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Ravens WR Rashod Bateman has given the Ravens, “every reason to believe he’ll be a significant contributor from Day 1.” Zrebiec adds that Bateman “hasn’t looked like a rookie.” It's tough to expect consistent fantasy contributions given a run-heavy offense and the presence of Mark Andrews, Marquise Brown and Sammy Watkins. But there’s a real chance that Bateman’s role grows as the season rolls along. He's heavily discounted with a WR62 price in FFPC best ball drafts.

New Ravens WR Sammy Watkins expects OC Greg Roman to "open up" the offense this season. “He’s going to utilize us in so many different ways," Watkins said. "He’s got a complex offense. I know the world hasn’t been seeing that yet, but he’s definitely going to open it up this year, run the ball and do, I’m pretty sure, all types of things with this offense.” We'll believe it when we see it. All 8 of Roman's offenses have ranked in the bottom 4 in pass attempts. That includes 32nd-place finishes in Baltimore the last 2 years. And when Watkins played under Roman in Buffalo, the Bills finished 31st and 32nd in pass attempts. Perhaps the Ravens chuck it a bit more in 2021, but it won't be enough to make Watkins, WR Marquise Brown and TE Mark Andrews reliable weekly fantasy plays. Watkins figures to be the odd man out.

Ravens WRs Marquise Brown, James Proche and Miles Boykin have been placed on the COVID list. We'll see if they tested positive for the virus or were just close contacts. If all 3 are out vs. Jacksonville this weekend, Willie Snead, Dez Bryant and Devin Duvernay would be left as Baltimore's top 2 WRs. TE Mark Andrews, of course, would be the heavy favorite to lead in targets.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews has been activated from the COVID list. That puts him on track to return for Monday night's game vs. the Browns. Andrews posted 7-61 and 5-96-1 lines on 16 total targets in his last 2 games and now gets Cleveland's 30th-ranked TE defense. He scored twice in the 1st meeting against the Browns back in Week 1.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews remains on the COVID list and is not expected to play against the Cowboys on Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Andrews should be on fantasy benches. His absence is a hit to QB Lamar Jackson's upside.
