Rome Odunze Has Stress Fracture In Foot

        2:57am UTC 12/6/25

Bears WR Rome Odunze has been playing through a stress fracture in his foot, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. It's unclear when Odunze suffered the injury. He was on the injury report with a heel as far back as Week 9, but this week is the first time he's been listed with a foot. Pelissero adds that Odunze "just needs rest and is week-to-week. The belief is it’s nothing long term and he’ll be back soon." We'll keep you updated on Odunze's health going forward, but he seems more likely than not to miss multiple games with this injury. His absence leaves behind 7.5 targets per game, boosting the fantasy outlooks on WRs Luther Burden, D.J. Moore, and Olamide Zaccheaus and TE Colston Loveland.

Rome Odunze Out For Week 14

        7:19pm UTC 12/5/25

Bears WR Rome Odunze (foot) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. We don’t have any details on this foot injury, but Odunze didn’t practice all week, so this could turn into a multi-game absence. D.J. Moore, Luther Burden, and Olamide Zaccheaus will operate as Chicago’s top three WRs against Green Bay’s 17th-ranked WR defense. TE Colston Loveland could also get more involved.

        Rome Odunze Out Again Thursday

        8:46pm UTC 12/4/25

Bears WR Rome Odunze (foot) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. We don't have any details on this foot issue, but Odunze's availability for this weekend's game vs. the Packers is uncertain. Even a healthy Odunze looked like no better than a WR3 at this point. He's finished outside the top-36 WRs in three straight games and four of his last five. We'll update Odunze's status again tomorrow.

He tied WR Rome Odunze and TE Colston Loveland for the team lead with six targets and took his 4 catches for 33 yards. Loveland and TE Cole Kmet were the only other Bears to catch more than two balls.

RB Kyle Monangai went 12-48-1 on the ground outperforming D’Andre Swift who only went 8-15-0. TE Colston Loveland went 4-49-1 compared to Cole Kmet’s 1-3-0. Finally, WR Luther Burden III surpassed Olamide Zaccheaus again this week with Burden going 3-46-0 on 5 targets while Zaccheaus caught his lone target for 6 yards.

Luther Burden Finally Joins Top 3 WRs

        10:45pm UTC 11/16/25

Sunday might have finally brought the change we've been waiting for in the Chicago offense, even if it wasn't obvious in the receiving numbers. Rookie WR Luther Burden supplied an uneventful 3 receptions for 27 yards among five targets. But that tied him for second on the team in targets and catches for the game. And Burden finished well ahead of Olamide Zaccheaus in usage for the first time all season.

D'Andre Swift Leads Run-Driven Game, But There's Something to Worry About

Chicago leaned heavily on the run, logging 39 rushing attempts vs. just 32 passes (and two sacks). Just four of those 39 rushes came from the QB. Swift continued to lead rookie RB Kyle Monangai in work -- 21 carries to 12 -- but he ceded the lone TD to Monangai in worrisome fashion. And that wasn't even the only worrying factor.
