Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. "He's tracking to return this week if all goes well," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweeted.
Allen led the Bears with 11 targets in Week 1. While he's been out the past two games, though, WR Rome Odunze enjoyed a breakout Week 3 and TE Cole Kmet's role has grown.
Allen figures to return to a prominent role as long as that heel isn't an issue. But we'll have to see how targets are divvied in Chicago moving forward.
A plus matchup vs. the Rams this weekend would make a healthy Allen a solid WR3 play.
