Bengals WR A.J. Green is expected to miss “some games" with his toe injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Green's appointment with foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson is this coming week, so we'll hopefully get a more concrete diagnosis then. Green is "trying to avoid surgery," Schefter adds. Stay tuned for updates.

Bengals WR A.J. Green is scheduled to visit foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson about his toe injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Clarity is coming soon, with everything — day-to-day, week-to-week, surgery — on the table for Green," Rapoport adds. We'll update Green's status as soon as we learn more.

Bengals insider Paul Dehner spotted WR A.J. Green with a walking boot on his right foot on Tuesday. Green reportedly injured the foot on the last play of last weekend's win over the Bucs. Walking boots are often used as a precautionary measure, but Green's status will certainly be worth tracking closely when the Bengals return from their Week 9 bye.

Bengals WR A.J. Green (pelvis) is not listed on the final Week 4 injury report. He put in full practices on Thursday and Friday after being limited Wednesday. Green is safe to get into fantasy lineups in what should be a shootout in Atlanta.

Bengals HC Marvin Lewis said Wednesday that he's "very optimistic" about WR A.J. Green's (groin) status for this weekend's game against the Falcons. Green said earlier in the week that he expects to play in that one. We'll continue to monitor his progress over the next few days, but fantasy owners can pencil Green into Week 4 lineups for now.

Bengals WR A.J. Green told reporters after Sunday's loss to the Panthers that he expects to play next week. He was announced with a groin injury, but Green said that he "came down on his hip" and "two bones just hit against (each other)." He added, "I didn't feel anything pop or anything like that, so I should be fine." We'll look for another update on Green tomorrow and monitor his practice participation this coming week.

Bengals WR A.J. Green injured his groin in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's game in Carolina. He was in obvious pain and is officially questionable to return. Stay tuned for updates.

Bengals WR A.J. Green will not be suspended by the NFL, according to insider Jim Owczarski. The league presumably feels the 2-and-a-half quarters he missed of yesterday's game against the Jaguars was enough punishment. It's a good break for fantasy owners -- especially considering Green was unlikely to do much vs. Jacksonville's shut-down secondary anyway. He'll be a WR1 for this weekend's game against the Titans.

Bengals WR A.J. Green was ejected in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game against the Jaguars after getting into a fight with CB Jalen Ramsey, who was also given the boot. Green put Ramsey in a choke hold, tossed him to the ground and then threw multiple punches. We'll see if he faces discipline beyond Week 9. He finishes this one with 1 catch for 6 yards.

The Bengals have fired OC Ken Zampese, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson. Zampese's offense failed to score a TD in 2 games, although QB Andy Dalton has been just as much to blame as the play-calling. We'll see if this move sparks the offense. It might also help RB Joe Mixon, who's been mired in a 3-headed committee.

UPDATE: Zampese will be replaced by QBs coach Bill Lazor, who spent 2014 and 2015 as Dolphins OC. The 2014 Fins ranked 11 in points scored and 14th in total yards. They fell to 27th and 26th, respectively, in 2015.

Bengals HC Marvin Lewis confirmed Wednesday that WR A.J. Green (hamstring) won't play in this weekend's finale against the Ravens. So he'll fall 36 yards short of his 6th straight 1,000-yard season. Brandon LaFell, Tyler Boyd and Cody Core will serve as Cincinnati's top 3 WRs vs. Baltimore.

7:18pm EST 12/24/16

As expected, Bengals WR A.J. Green is inactive for tonight's game against the Texans. That leaves more targets on the field for WRs Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd, especially with TE Tyler Eifert also out.

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Bengals' doctors won't let WR A.J. Green play tonight. He's been practicing for a couple of weeks now but evidently hasn't received full clearance. The fact that Cincinnati has nothing to play for probably has something to do with the decision, too. Green needs to head back to fantasy benches. With TE Tyler Eifert also out for tonight's game vs. Houston, WRs Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd should dominate targets.

Update: ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms Glazer's reports and adds that Green isn't expected to play Week 17, either.

The Bengals might hold WR A.J. Green (hamstring) out of Saturday night's game against the Texans, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Green has said all week that he'll play, so it's unclear what's changed. Of course, he's returning from a significant injury, and Cincinnati has nothing to play for. The situation is complicated by the fact that Bengals-Texans doesn't kick off until 8:25 pm ET tonight. You need to have an alternative lined up if you plan on starting Green. He'll be a risk/reward WR2 if active.

The Bengals listed WR A.J. Green (hamstring) as questionable for Saturday night's game against the Texans. He was limited in practice all week but said Thursday that he'll play this weekend. We haven't heard that he'll be limited, but that's certainly possible coming off a 4-week absence. Consider Green a risk/reward WR2 for Week 16.

Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) told reporters on Thursday that he'll play against the Texans on Saturday night. Considering Cincinnati has nothing to play for, the fact that they're allowing Green to play tells us that they're not worried about the hammy. We'd feel comfy getting him back into fantasy lineups, even against the league's 4th-ranked WR defense.

11:34am EST 12/18/16

Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Steelers. We’ll see if he can make it back for Week 16.
