The Broncos released WRs Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Marquez Callaway. That leaves only four WRs on the active roster: Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims, and Brandon Johnson. It might be a sign that Denver expects Jeudy to be available for the season opener. We'll keep an eye on Jeudy's progress -- and if the Broncos make any other moves at WR.

The Broncos signed WR Marquez Callaway to a one-year deal. He spent his first two NFL seasons under new Broncos HC Sean Payton in New Orleans, tallying 21-213-0 and 46-698-6 receiving lines. Callaway joins Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, and K.J. Hamler in Denver's WR room. Jeudy and Sutton have been bandied about as trade candidates (although Payton recently shot those rumors down), while Patrick (ACL) and Hamler (pectoral) are rehabbing major injuries. There's a chance that opportunity opens up for Callaway in Denver, although we'd still consider him no more than a last-round flier in best-ball drafts for now.

Saints WR Marquez Callaway is a healthy scratch for today's game vs. the Steelers. He's the odd man out with WR Jarvis Landry back. Landry joins Chris Olave and Tre'Quan Smith as New Orleans' top 3 WRs.

Saints WR Jarvis Landry (ankle) is inactive for tonight's game vs. the Ravens. He was limited in practice all week but will miss his 5th straight game. Chris Olave, Marquez Callaway and Tre'Quan Smith will again operate as New Orleans' top 3 WRs.

Saints WRs Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) are out for Sunday's game vs. the Raiders. HC Dennis Allen said Friday that there's no timetable for their returns, but that he does expect both guys to play again this season. WR Chris Olave should continue to dominate targets this weekend, with Marquez Callaway and Tre'Quan Smith as New Orleans' #2 and #3 WRs.

Saints WRs Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) remained sidelined on Tuesday. Neither guy is expected to play vs. the Cardinals on Thursday night, leaving Chris Olave, Tre'Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway as New Orleans' top 3 WRs.

Saints WR Chris Olave (concussion) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Bengals. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so unless he suffered a setback, he should return for Week 7. With WRs Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry also out, New Orleans is down to WRs Tre’Quan Smith, Marquez Callaway and Keith Kirkwood. Expect a run-heavy game plan with plenty of Taysom Hill.

Saints WR Jarvis Landry (ankle) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Seahawks. With WR Michael Thomas also out, New Orleans is down to WRs Chris Olave, Marquez Callaway, Tre’Quan Smith and Deonte Harty.

Saints WR Michael Thomas (foot) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. He’s yet to practice since going down in Week 3. WR Marquez Callaway replaced Thomas last week, running a route on 97% pass plays and drawing 6 targets (21% share). He’s in play as a cheap DFS option. WR Chris Olave gets a boost with Thomas out.

Saints QB Andy Dalton completed 20 of 28 passes (71.4%) for 236 yards (8.4 yards per attempt) and 1 TD in Sunday's narrow loss to the Vikings in London. He spread the targets around, with WR Chris Olave drawing a team-high 7, WR Marquez Callaway getting 6, TE Juwan Johnson seeing 4 and no one else topping 3. Olave's 4 receptions and 67 yards led the team. Four other Saints caught 3 balls. Jarvis Landry came away with a mere 2 catches for 7 yards on 2 targets. We'll see about QB Jameis Winston's status for the Week 5 home date with Seattle.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the new ankle injury for Saints WR Michael Thomas will keep him out for the rest of the season. New Orleans reportedly tried to trade for receiving help before Tuesday's deadline but couldn't get anything done. That leaves Marquez Callaway, Tre'Quan Smith and Deonte Harris as the top WRs for QB Taysom Hill going forward. Expect New Orleans to also lean heavily on Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram -- both in the run game and as pass-catchers (well, Kamara, at least, on that front).

Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith is out for Sunday's game against the Packers after hurting his hamstring in practice this week. With WR Michael Thomas also out, New Orleans is down to WRs Marquez Callaway, Deonte Harris, Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Chris Hogan. Callaway should dominate targets and is a nice Week 1 fantasy play.

Update: Smith has been placed on IR, so he's out for at least the season's first 3 weeks.

QB Jameis Winston has been named the Saints' starter, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Winston and QB Taysom Hill seemed to play to a draw in training camp, but Winston won this job with his 123-yard, 2-TD performance in Monday night's preseason game vs. Jacksonville. Having Winston under center is good news for RB Alvin Kamara and New Orleans' WRs. But Winston himself isn't a very attractive fantasy option. He'll be working with an underwhelming group of pass catchers until WR Michael Thomas returns. And Hill still figures to steal snaps, especially in the red zone.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler confirms that Saints QB Jameis Winston "appears well-positioned to start opening day vs. Green Bay." HC Sean Payton has yet to officially name a starter, but it'd be a surprise if it wasn't Winston after his impressive showing in the 2nd preseason game. "Winston is receiving significant locker-room support this week for the Saints starting QB job, with many teammates treating him as if he is the starter or giving indications he will get the job," Fowler adds. If you're drafting this weekend, assume Winston is the Saints' starter. He's not an appealing fantasy option -- but Winston being under center is good news for RB Alvin Kamara and the rest of New Orleans' skill guys.
