The Saints have ruled CB Janoris Jenkins out for Monday night’s game against the Chargers. CB Marshon Lattimore is questionable with the hamstring injury that cost him Week 4. Lattimore managed limited practices all week but still looks more risk than reward for Week 5 IDP lineups.

The Saints have ruled CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) and CB Janoris Jenkins (shoulder) out for Sunday's game at Detroit. That leaves New Orleans without it's top 2 corners against a Lions offense sporting Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones on the outside. The Saints will also continue to be without DE Marcus Davenport (elbow, toe).

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore "tweaked" a hamstring in Wednesday's practice, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Although he reports that it's "not considered major," Lattimore missed Thursday's practice. Even if he returns for Friday, he's likely to hit Sunday's game at Detroit less than 100%. That's good news for Lions WR Kenny Golladay. Try to keep Lattimore out of IDP lineups.

The Saints have ruled DE Marcus Davenport out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers with an elbow injury. According to NOLA.com's Luke Johnson, Davenport had been practicing recently with a brace on his left elbow. He sat out each of this week's workouts, however. We'll see about his status heading into Week 2.

The Saints traded up to select Wisconsin LB Zack Baun in Round 3 of the NFL Draft. Baun finished his Badgers career playing almost exclusively on the edge. But at 230 pounds, he'd likely have trouble holding up there every play in the NFL. New Orleans' 4-3 base gives him more of an off-ball LB role, but we'd bet on plenty of pass-rushing. Baun's cross-category potential and impressive overall athleticism makes him worth a bet in dynasty rookie drafts. The risk is that he plays a role similar to what Anthony Barr has with the Vikings -- which has included plenty of real-life value but limited fantasy production.

According to multiple reports, the Bengals have agreed to a 3-year deal with S Vonn Bell. The former Saint joins a secondary that returns both starters at safety: Shawn Williams and Jessie Bates. Cincinnati's primary slot CB Darqueze Dennard, however, left for Jacksonville in free agency this offseason. We'd bet on that role being at least part of the plan for Bell with the Bengals -- and perhaps his primary job. We'll keep an eye out for word from the coaches as we move into 2020 IDP rankings time.

The Saints have agreed to a 4-year, $32 million deal with S Malcolm Jenkins. The 32-year-old began his career in New Orleans as a 1st-round CB back in 2009 before moving to safety. He spent the past 6 years with the Eagles after leaving in free agency and helped turn Philly into a perennially tough matchup for TEs. Back with the Saints, Jenkins might be stepping in for S Vonn Bell, who hit free agency this week. New Orleans is certainly paying starter money to Jenkins, who figures to land in DB2 territory in our 2020 IDP rankings.

The Saints have ruled S Vonn Bell (knee), S Marcus Williams (groin) and CB Eli Apple (ankle) out for Sunday's game against the Panthers. Rookie Chauncey Gardner-Johnson will get another start in Bell's place. Janoris Jenkins figures to start in Apple's place.

The Saints had a walkthrough practice Wednesday, according to NOLA.com's Amie Just. They listed S Vonn Bell as a limited participant. That marks progress after Bell missed all practices and both games with a knee injury over the past 2 weeks. We'll see if he's ready for Sunday's visit to Carolina.

The Saints have ruled S Vonn Bell (knee) out for the 2nd straight game. His replacement, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, is questionable with the concussion that knocked him out of Monday night's win over the Colts. The rookie put in a full practice Friday, though, and seems likely to gain final clearance for Sunday against the Titans.

4:12pm EST 12/14/19

The Saints have ruled S Vonn Bell (knee) out for Monday night's game against the Colts. That should mean rookie Chauncey (C.J.) Gardner-Johnson starting in his place. Gardner-Johnson has produced solid numbers in limited starting duty this season -- mostly at slot CB. He's a viable replacement for Bell in your IDP lineup.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (calf) is active for tonight's game against the Falcons. He missed the past 2 games.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (calf) is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Falcons. Lattimore missed the past 2 games and remained limited in practice this week. We'll check his availability tonight, when the inactives are announced.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore is questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers. He made it back to a limited practice Friday after missing the previous 2 days with the calf injury that cost Lattimore the Week 11 game at Tampa. Even if he plays, Lattimore looks like a risky bet to play a full game. Find a safer option for the DB/CB slots on your IDP rosters.

The Saints have ruled CB Marshon Lattimore (thigh) out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. That's good news for Mike Evans, who caught 0 passes among 3 targets in their earlier meeting.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore left in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's loss to the Falcons with a thigh injury and did not return. Lattimore could be seen jogging on the sideline and riding a stationary bike, trying to make his way back. We'll see if that means New Orleans' lead corner can make it back for next Sunday's trip to Tampa Bay. If he does, Lattimore will be in a good spot for IDP production. If he doesn't, the matchup gets much better for Buccaneers WR Mike Evans.
