Trevor Siemian Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Broncos insider Mike Klis hears that QB Trevor Siemian will start Sunday's finale against the Raiders but that QB Paxton Lynch will also play. It makes sense for Denver to get a look at both guys -- against the same opponent -- heading into the offseason. Siemian and Lynch figure to battle for the 2017 starting job next summer. Neither guy is a Week 17 fantasy option.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian topped 300 yards passing for his 2nd straight game Sunday against the Titans. He completed 35 of 51 throws for 334 yards and 1 TD after losing Week 13 to a foot injury. He did so on a day where the Broncos got even less than usual from the run game: 18 total yards on 9 attempts. Denver will likely need to continue to lean on Siemian and the passing game the rest of the way: vs. New England next week, then at Kansas City and home for Oakland.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (foot) is active and will start against the Titans’ 27th-ranked QB defense. He’ll play with an orthotic to help with that foot, but his mobility still figures to be limited. The matchup, though, makes him an option in 2-QB leagues. Siemian’s return is also good news for WRs Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Broncos QB Trevor Siemian will return to the starting lineup today against the Titans. He missed last week's win over the Jaguars with a foot injury, but HC Gary Kubiak said he looked good in practice all week. He'll carry upside against a Tennessee pass defense that allowed Bears QB Matt Barkley a QB6 fantasy finish last time out. Getting Siemian back should also be good news for the fantasy outlooks of WRs Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (foot) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. HC Gary Kubiak said Friday that he'll make a decision on Siemian after Saturday's walkthrough. Insider Mike Klis believes Siemian is "progressing toward playing." We'll look for an update on Sunday morning. Siemian is just a lower-end QB2, but his return would be good news for WRs Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (foot) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. It's a good start for his chances of returning for this weekend's game against the Titans. Siemian hasn't been great this season, but he certainly gives the Broncos offense a better shot than rookie Paxton Lynch.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (foot) is out for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. First-round rookie QB Paxton Lynch will make his 2nd start after posting a 223-1-1 line vs. Atlanta back in Week 5. He’s barely on the 2-QB league radar vs. Jacksonville’s 10th-ranked QB defense. Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders remain lower-end WR2s for Week 13.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian was held out of Wednesday's practice with a foot sprain he reportedly suffered in overtime on Monday night. He's dealing with swelling and is currently in a walking boot. HC Gary Kubiak labeled Siemian "day-to-day." If he can't play this weekend, rookie QB Paxton Lynch would make his 2nd start. Neither guy is more than a low-end QB2 vs. a solid Jacksonville pass D.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian has been dealing with continued discomfort in his left (non-throwing) shoulder. He originally hurt it in Week 4 but missed just 1 game. HC Gary Kubiak revealed Monday, though, that Siemian has been receiving "weekly" pain-killing injections. Since returning in Week 6, he's completed just 56.3% of his passes with 6 TDs and 4 INTs. Denver has a well-timed Week 11 bye, and Kubiak confirmed that Siemian will remain the starter in Week 12.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian played in the Week 6 Thursday night loss to the Chargers, but he did so with his injured shoulder still bothering him. Siemian and his coach say the extra rest has helped this week. “I think he’s been much better,” coach Gary Kubiak told The Denver Post. “Obviously last week when he played in the game he was still somewhat sore. To me, watching him turn a few balls loose, he didn’t rotate the way he normally does, but he’s had some good time on his hands. It’s been a week now since that game, so you can see a difference. We knew it was going to take a little time for him to get back to himself." Siemian doesn't look attractive for fantasy lineups even at full strength, but a healthier shoulder can only help his usable WR assets, Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (shoulder) is active and will start tonight's game against the Chargers. He remained limited in practice this week and isn't at 100%. Siemian is just a low-end QB2, despite the plus matchup.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Chargers after 3 limited practices. All signs point to Siemian getting the start, but we'll find out for sure by 7 pm ET tomorrow. Despite the plus matchup, a less-than-100% Siemian is just a low-end QB2 for Week 6.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian is expected to be back under center for Thursday night's game against the Chargers, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rookie Paxton Lynch struggled in his 1st career start yesterday, completing 23 of 35 passes for 223 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT -- and taking 6 sacks. Siemian, as long as he stays healthy, figures to stick as Denver's starter for the foreseeable future.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Rookie QB Paxton Lynch will make his 1st career start and is an intriguing QB2 vs. the league's 32nd-ranked QB defense. With a strong performance, he could hang on to the starting gig going forward. Lynch isn't a downgrade to Denver's pass-catchers.
