Damien Harris Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson got just 8 carries in Sunday's win over the Dolphins, trailing RB Damien Harris by 1 in the latter's return from injury. Stevenson managed 42 yards (a solid 5.3 per carry) and caught 2 of 9 targets for 9 yards. That makes 2 straight games of less than 50 total yards but his 1st time all season with a single-digit touch total in a game he didn't leave early. Stevenson will be tougher to like against the Bills in Week 18, for those playing through the end of the regular season. Harris went 9-32 rushing against the Dolphins, with 3 catches for 18 yards among 3 targets.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. We’re not worried about the ankle, but RB Damien Harris’ return is at least a slight ding to Stevenson’s fantasy value. RB Kevin Harris is a healthy scratch today.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion all week and is officially questionable for Week 17 vs. the Dolphins. Teammate RB Damien Harris (NIR-personal) practiced fully on Friday and carries no injury tag for the contest on Sunday. It's good news that the Patriots will have Harris back in case Stevenson cannot suit up. That said, Stevenson has been playing through this injury since Week 14, and it has yet to cost him time. Stevenson remains a solid fantasy play if he receives the green light to play, although Harris’ return caps the ceiling a bit. Harris is nothing more than a speculative flex consideration in a neutral matchup vs. the Dolphins.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) was a limited participant in practice on Thursday. After logging limited participation yesterday, Teammate Damien Harris received a NIR/rest day on Thursday. Tomorrow's practice report will shed more light on the availability of the Pats backs for Week 17 vs. the Dolphins.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday. Teammate Damien Harris (thigh) was also limited at Wednesday's practice. Stevenson was able to suit up and play in Week 16 against the Bengals. On the other hand, Harris has not played since Week 12 vs. the Vikings. Both RBs logged limited participation all of last week. We'll be sure to keep an eye on their activity ahead of Week 17 vs. the Dolphins.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Bengals. He exploded for a 19-172-1 rushing line while playing through this ankle issue last week and will get a "full load" today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. RB Damien Harris (thigh) is inactive, leaving rookies Pierre Strong and Kevin Harris behind Stevenson in the backfield.

The Score's Jordan Schultz hears that the Patriots "plan to sit" RB Damien Harris (thigh) against the Bengals today. "However, I’m also told he might still dress and be made available in an emergency," Schultz adds. We'll get New England's inactives around 11:30 am ET, but Harris needs to be on fantasy benches. His continued absence is a boost to RB Rhamondre Stevenson.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) is "likely" to play vs. the Bengals today, while RB Damien Harris (thigh) is "more of a game-time decision." Both guys are listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week. We're not too worried about Stevenson considering he ripped off 172 rushing yards playing through this injury last week. We'll find out whether Harris is playing around 11:30 am ET, but he'd be a RB3 or flex at best.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) logged limited participation in practice all week and is officially listed as questionable for Week 16's game vs. the Bengals. The same goes for RB Damien Harris (thigh) this week. It's good to see both backs at least practiced somewhat this week. Fantasy managers should still keep a close eye on the final word for these guys ahead of kickoff on Saturday. Rookies Pierre Strong Jr. and Kevin Harris are names to keep an eye out for on the waiver wire just in case, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves just yet. Should Stevenson suit up, we consider him a top-10 play at the position.

Patriots RBs Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) and Damien Harris (thigh) both recorded their 2nd-straight limited practices on Thursday. It is still up in the air regarding which players will shoulder the rushing workload for the Pats on Saturday vs. the Bengals. We'll keep an eye out tomorrow regarding the health of this duo ahead of Week 16 action. If one or both cannot go, check your waiver wire for Pierre Strong Jr. and Kevin Harris.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (thigh) was listed as a limited participant in practice on Tuesday. Teammate Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) was tagged with the same designation regarding an injury of his own. Should either Patriots back miss Week 16 vs. the Bengals on Saturday, rookies Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong Jr. would be in line to pick up the backfield responsibility. The Bengals rank as the 10th-toughest matchup in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs, however, so the game will be tough sledding for whoever suits up this week.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson entered Sunday questionable with an ankle sprain but delivered big numbers after the game started. He rushed 19 times for 172 yards and a TD in the loss to the Raiders. He added 2 catches on 3 targets but lost 4 yards there amid a terrible passing day for New England. RB Pierre Strong Jr. Led the team with 3 receptions (for 12 yards) and carried 4 times for 25. RB Kevin Harris added 5-19 rushing. RB Damien Harris could be ready to re-enter the mix for a Week 16 date with the Bengals. He put in limited practices throughout Week 15 and was initially questionable before being ruled out for the Raiders game.

The Patriots have downgraded RB Damien Harris (thigh) to out for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Rhamondre Stevenson remains questionable as of now and seemed like the worse bet to play in this game. He put in only a limited Friday practice this week after leaving Monday night's win over the Cardinals with an ankle sprain. Harris managed limited participation every day. If Stevenson is also inactive, rookies Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong would likely split backfield time. We'd bet on the team also elevating J.J. Taylor from the practice squad in that case. Exactly how New England would split the work among those 3 players would obviously be more guess than projection, given the very limited roles for all 3 RBs this season.

Patriots RBs Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) and Damien Harris (thigh) are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders. Stevenson got in just a limited practice on Friday after hurting that ankle on Monday night. Harris was limited all week. We’ll look for further updates on this backfield ahead of Sunday’s 4:05 pm ET kickoff.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) missed practice again on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Raiders this weekend. RB Damien Harris (thigh) was limited for the 2nd straight day. We'll get New England's final injury report tomorrow.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. RB Damien Harris (thigh) was limited. We'll keep a close eye on this backfield over the next few days, leading up to Sunday's game vs. the Raiders. Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong are the healthy RBs on the active roster. RB J.J. Taylor is on the practice squad.

As expected, Patriots RB Damien Harris (thigh) is inactive for tonight's game vs. the Cardinals. RBs Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong are active, but Rhamondre Stevenson should dominate backfield work.
