An MRI on Packers WR Davante Adams' neck came back clean, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Adams did sustain a concussion on that dirty hit from Bears LB Danny Trevathan -- but this is relatively good news considering it looked like a much more serious injury. We'll keep an eye on Adams' status throughout next week. WR Geronimo Allison will pop back on the fantasy radar if Adams misses time.

Packers WR Davante Adams had to be carted off the field in the 3rd quarter of Sunday night's game after taking a vicious and illegal hit to the head from Bears LB Danny Trevathan. Adams was conscious as he left the field but will obviously be evaluated for both a concussion and neck injury. We'll update his status when we learn more.

Packers WRs Jordy Nelson (ribs), Davante Adams (ankle) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) are active for today's game against the Falcons. All 3 guys are risk/reward DFS plays at their respective price tags.

Packers WRs Jordy Nelson (ribs), Davante Adams (ankle) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) are all expected to play against the Falcons today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Adams and Allison seemed likely to suit up all along, but Nelson's availability just 2 weeks after breaking 2 ribs is a surprise. He'll reportedly play with military-grade kevlar padding to protect his ribs. All 3 of these guys are risk/reward DFS plays at less than 100% in a plus matchup.

Packers WRs Jordy Nelson (ribs), Davante Adams (ankle) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) are all listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Adams and Allison didn't practice all week. Nelson put in limited workouts on Wednesday and Thursday before sitting out on Friday, reportedly due to an illness. HC Mike McCarthy said Friday morning that all 3 guys could be game-time decisions. We'll find out their statuses by 1:30 pm ET on Sunday.

Packers WR Jordy Nelson (ribs) practiced without pads on Thursday. As ESPN's Rob Demovsky confirms, it likely means Nelson has yet to be cleared for contact. He still has 3 days to get there, but we're not holding our breath. WRs Davante Adams (ankle) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring) have yet to practice this week but seem to have a better chance than Nelson of playing against the Falcons this weekend.

Packers WR Davante Adams was held out of Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury. He appeared to roll the ankle in the 4th quarter of last weekend's win in Dallas but returned to the game. "We'll see," Packers HC Mike McCarthy said when asked about Adams' status. "I'm curious to see him move. I don't think he'll practice until Saturday." We're expecting Adams to play against the Falcons on Sunday, but his status can't be taken for granted.

ESPN's Rob Demovsky hears there's "only a small chance" Packers WR Jordy Nelson (ribs) plays against the Falcons on Sunday. Broken ribs generally take about 6 weeks to heal, so it's tough to see Nelson getting cleared just 2 weeks after his injury. "Can't tell you if Jordy's going to practice Wednesday, but he did all the work in the [regeneration] workout today," HC Mike McCarthy said Monday. "So that's a good sign." Perhaps Nelson could return if Green Bay reaches the Super Bowl, but look for Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison to serve as the top 3 WRs in Atlanta. TE Jared Cook should also continue to play a big role in the passing game.

Packers HC Mike McCarthy on Friday ruled out WR Jordy Nelson for this weekend's game against the Cowboys. This was the most likely outcome all along considering Nelson broke 2 ribs in last Sunday's win over the Giants. We'd consider him no better than 50/50 for the NFC Championship if Green Bay gets there. Nelson's absence leaves Davante Adams and Randall Cobb as the Packers' top 2 WRs. Geronimo Allison figures to be next in line for snaps, with Jeff Janis as the #4 WR. TE Jared Cook and RB Ty Montgomery could also pick up extra targets with Nelson out.

Packers WR Jordy Nelson fractured 2 ribs in Sunday's game against the Giants, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Will take an incredible effort to play" vs. the Cowboys this weekend, Rapoport adds. HC Mike McCarthy said that Nelson will spend the week rehabbing before potentially practicing on Saturday. At this point, though, we're assuming he won't play in Dallas. That'll leave Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison as Green Bay's top 3 WRs. TE Jared Cook could also pick up extra targets.

The Packers didn't have an update on WR Jordy Nelson's rib injury after Sunday's win over the Giants. But HC Mike McCarthy admitted that he Nelson's availability for the Divisional Round in Dallas is in question. "I obviously have concern for Jordy," McCarthy said. Nelson was in obvious pain after taking a shot to the ribs in the 2nd quarter. He ended up taking a cart back to the locker room and was ruled out at halftime. We should learn more about his status over the next few days. Nelson's absence would leave Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison as Green Bay's top 3 WRs.

Packers WR Randall Cobb (ankle) is a surprise inactive for today's game against the Vikings. He played through the issue last Sunday and put in 3 limited practices this week, but Green Bay might be opting to hold him out until he's back to 100%. Cobb's absence should mean a few extra targets for Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams and possibly Jared Cook.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers had a decent day in Sunday's win over the Bears, but his stat line should have been better. Rodgers completed 19 of 31 passes for 252 yards, but a pair of incomplete passes proved more noteworthy. WR Davante Adams dropped 2 throws in the end zone, which would have obviously improved the fantasy lines significantly for both players. As it was, Adams caught just 2 of 6 targets for 25 yards. He finished 3rd on the team in targets and tied for 3rd in receptions. Adams has seen just 6 targets in 4 of his past 5 games (with 7 in the other) and averaged 3 receptions per game over that span. He's an iffy fantasy option for Week 16 against a Vikings defense that held him to a 3-26 line back in Week 2.

The forecast for today's Packers-Bears game calls for a temperature of 6 degrees with winds of 10-20 mph. The wind chill could sink as low as -13. That's cold. Expect more running than usual from both sides. We're still expecting Green Bay's passing game to be effective. WR Alshon Jeffery is the only piece of the Bears' passing game that should be in fantasy lineups.

Packers WR Davante Adams racked up 104 yards and a TD on just 4 catches in Sunday's win over the Seahawks. He did so among just 6 targets, boosted by a 66-yard TD early in the 1st quarter. It was Adams' 4th 100-yard game of the year and the 3rd among his past 5 outings. Adams remains inconsistent, but the weekly upside his situation delivers will make him tough to bench at any point.

1-3 inches of snow is expected in Green Bay today, but winds will be at just 4-8 mph. Those aren't ideal conditions, but we're not expecting weather to have a major impact on the Seahawks or the Packers, who both have experience playing in crappy weather.

The forecast for today's Texans-Packers game calls for 1-3 inches of snow. Wind won't be a major factor, though, at just 5-10 mph. Green Bay's passing game is safe to keep in fantasy lineups. There's nothing safe about Houston's passing game, but that has nothing to do with the weather.

The forecast for tonight's Packers-Redskins game calls for 17-18 mph winds with gusts of 40+. That's certainly bad news for Ks Mason Crosby and Dustin Hopkins. We also made slight adjustments down to our projections for both passing games.

Colts CB Vontae Davis cleared the league concussion protocol Saturday and should play Sunday at Green Bay, according to Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star. Expect Davis to spend most of the day on Packers WR Jordy Nelson, which should funnel more targets toward Green Bay's other wideouts.

Packers WRs Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Ty Montgomery (illness) are both inactive for today’s game against the Falcons. That leaves Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams and Jeff Janis as Green Bay’s top 3 WRs.
