Bears WR D.J. Moore posted 9 receptions on 13 targets for 159 yards and a score in Week 17 against the Falcons. The veteran wideout ended Sunday with his fifth game this season with 100+ receiving yards, an achievement that marks a career-best for Moore. He’s also on track to post a personal high in PPR points per game (17.3 through Week 17) and already surpassed bests in yardage (1,300) and TDs (8). The addition of Moore proved to be a boon for Chicago’s offense and QB Justin Fields, though the latter’s future still hangs in the balance. Regardless of whether Fields returns as the Bears’ starter, Moore should be considered as a high-end WR2 in dynasty formats. It would be nice if Fields came back, however. It would save Moore from having to play with his 10th different starting QB since entering the league in 2018.

Bears WR D.J. Moore (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. He was full-go in Friday’s practice, so we’re not expecting the ankle to be a problem today. Moore is safe to use as you normally would.

Bears WR D.J. Moore (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Browns today, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms. Moore was a full-go in Friday's practice, so we're not expecting the ankle to be a significant factor today.

Bears WR D.J. Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Browns. He went from no practice on Wednesday to a limited practice on Thursday to full participation on Friday. We’re expecting Moore to play his usual role this weekend but will look for further updates on his status.

Bears WR D.J. Moore (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That should have him on track to play vs. the Browns this weekend, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Bears WR D.J. Moore (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He seemed to make it out of last week's game vs. the Lions okay, so we're assuming this is more of a maintenance day. But Moore's status bears monitoring over the next few days.

Bears QB Justin Fields made his return from a thumb injury in Week 11 vs. Detroit. He instantly paid off for fantasy managers, posting 169-1 passing and 104 rushing yards on 18(!) attempts. (Those 18 attempts matched a career-high.) His lone score came on a beautiful deep ball to D.J. Moore, who led the team with 9 targets, 7 catches, and 96 yards. Week 12 turns up a neutral matchup vs. the Vikings, followed by a Week 13 bye. Fields will be a no-doubt QB1 down the stretch, especially for matchups with Detroit (Week 14), Arizona (Week 16) and Atlanta (Week 17).

Bears WR D.J. Moore hauled in 5 of 9 targets for 58 receiving yards in Week 10 vs. the Panthers. Thursday’s output marks the fourth time in five weeks that he’s reached at least 50 yards receiving in a contest. Sure, it’s not as good as the 106.2 receiving yards per game Moore averaged through Week 5 with QB Justin Fields (right thumb) in the lineup, but fantasy managers can feel happy that they at least got flex-level production out of him over the past month. Fields’ return from injury in Week 11 vs. the Lions isn’t yet certain, but it would certainly be a huge boost for Moore’s outlook next week. It won’t be a cakewalk matchup, however. The Lions rank ninth in pass defense DVOA in 2023.

Bears TE Cole Kmet secured 6 of 8 targets for 55 receiving yards and 2 TDs vs. the Saints in Week 9. He’s been on fire over the past two weeks, ranking first in PPR points per game (20.7) and fifth in receiving yards (134) among TEs. WR D.J. Moore did not fare as well in Sunday’s contest, recording just 3 catches for 44 yards. The turnaround time for the Bears is quite short as their Week 10 game vs. the Panthers is coming up on Thursday night. It won’t be an easy game for Kmet or Moore as the Carolina defense ranks as the second- and eighth-toughest matchup for opposing WRs and TEs respectively, per our our adjusted fantasy points allowed. That said, we may feel better about their fortunes if QB Justin Fields is able to return from his dislocated right thumb. Be sure to keep up with the injury reports in the coming days.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo says the Bears are "hopeful" QB Justin Fields (thumb) can start Thursday night's game vs. the Panthers. Fields returned to a limited practice on Friday. He "still has issues" with that hand, Garafolo adds, "so he's gonna have to make some progress in a short period of time to be ready for Carolina." We'll track Fields' progress this coming week. QB Tyson Bagent gets another start vs. the Saints today.

The lone bright spot in Sunday night’s loss vs. the Chargers, Bears TE Cole Kmet hauled all 10 targets for a team-leading 79 receiving yards. This is the third time in five games that the former second-round pick has recorded at least 15 or more PPR points. His teammate WR D.J. Moore also had a fine outing, logging 4 catches on 6 targets for 55 yards in the contest. The Bears’ offense has struggled of late without the presence of QB Justin Fields. Should he return for Week 9 vs. the Saints, we’d be more excited to play them in lineups, but each pass-catcher is still a lower-end starter regardless of who’s under center.

Bears WR DJ Moore snagged 8 of 9 targets for 54 yards in Week 7. Call it a fine outcome in Tyson Bagent’s first NFL start. Moore nearly added a TD, but he couldn’t secure a one-handed catch in tight coverage. Justin Fields (thumb) should return within the next few weeks, but in the meantime, Moore will remain a WR2/3. Next up is a road date with the Chargers.

Bears QB Justin Fields (thumb) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders. He didn’t practice all week and, although Fields won’t have surgery, he isn’t a great bet to make it back for Week 8. Undrafted rookie QB Tyson Bagent makes his first career start this weekend. He’s not a viable fantasy play and makes WR D.J. Moore and TE Cole Kmet much riskier starts.

Bears HC Matt Eberflus labeled QB Justin Fields doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders with his dislocated thumb. Fields’ status beyond Week 7 is “really going to come down to grip strength,” Eberflus added. We’ll look for a more concrete timeline for Fields’ return. He’s worth hanging on to in most fantasy leagues for the time being. Undrafted rookie QB Tyson Bagent figures to make his first career start this weekend. He had a solid preseason but looked overmatched against the Vikings on Sunday, averaging 5.9 yards per pass attempt with an INT and a lost fumble. Chicago skill-position players will be tough to trust in fantasy lineups with Bagent under center.

Bears WR D.J. Moore tallied a decent 5 receptions for 51 yards in Sunday's loss to the Vikings, despite losing QB Justin Fields halfway through. Moore logged 7 of his 8 targets and 4 receptions after QB Tyler Bagent took over. No other Bear caught more than two passes in the game. We'll see whether Fields can make it back for a Week 7 meeting with Las Vegas.

Bears WR D.J. Moore racked up 230 receiving yards and a single-game franchise record three TDs in Thursday night's win over the Commanders. He got going early with a 58-yard deep reception and a 20-yard TD on Chicago's first possession. Moore's assault continued throughout the night with a strong combination of route running and after-catch skills. In fact, he racked up a whopping 141 yards after the catch, per Pro Football Focus. His second TD came on an impressive contested grab from 11 yards out in the second quarter; the third a relatively easy 56-yard catch and run after CB Kendall Fuller tried to jump Moore's route for an INT. Moore has now topped 100 yards in two straight games and three of the last four. More importantly, he's racked up 32 targets on a 27.8% share over the past four weeks. Don't expect the Bears passing game to continue producing anywhere close to how it has these past two weeks. But QB Justin Fields looks improved and can certainly support Moore as at least a WR2 on this type of volume. Plus, Moore has three more favorable matchups on tap vs. the Vikings, Raiders, and Chargers.

Bears WR D.J. Moore caught eight of nine targets for 131 yards and a score in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. This Denver defense is the worst in the league right now, but it was nice to see Moore (and QB Justin Fields) take advantage of the matchup. Moore has now topped 100 yards in two of his last three games. More importantly, he's registered 24%, 30%, and 26% target shares the past three weeks. If Moore continues to see that type of volume -- and this Bears passing game can just be serviceable -- Moore will be a solid weekly fantasy starter. His stretch of favorable matchups continues the next four weeks vs. the Commanders, Vikings, Raiders, and Chargers.

Bears WR D.J. Moore roped in 3 of 6 targets for 41 receiving yards and 1 TD in Week 3’s blowout loss vs. the Chiefs. No other pass-catcher exceeded 2 catches or 25 receiving yards. This 41-10 pummeling marks the lowest point of Chicago’s season to date. It’ll be difficult to start any pass-catcher in this offense besides Moore with even a little confidence in Week 4 vs. the Broncos.

Bears WR D.J. Moore racked up 104 yards on 6 receptions in Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers. His 7 targets ranked second on the team and accounted for 24.1% of QB Justin Fields' total pass attempts. Moore also garnered 49.3% of Chicago's receiving yards. The Bears passed or took a sack (six of them) on 68.6% of offensive snaps, leaning that way even in the first half. We'll be curious to see if that split continues. The Bears' early tendency toward trailing opponents would certainly help to drive up passing volume. WR Chase Claypool led the team Sunday with 8 targets, catching three for 36 yards and Fields' lone passing TD. TE Cole Kmet finished with 6 targets, 4 receptions and 38 yards. Chicago heads to Kansas City in Week 3 before hosting the Broncos in Week 4.
