Saints TE Juwan Johnson (calf) did not practice all week and is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Texans. TEs Taysom Hill, Foster Moreau, and Jimmy Graham split routes with Johnson out last week. None can be trusted in Week 6 fantasy lineups.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson (calf) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. TE Foster Moreau (ankle) is off the injury report and will be back after missing the last two games. He’ll join Jimmy Graham in the TE corps. Neither is a viable Week 5 fantasy play.

Saints TE Foster Moreau (ankle) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Packers. His absence is a slight boost to TE Juwan Johnson's Week 3 fantasy outlook.

Saints TE Foster Moreau (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Packers. He's totaled just two targets but 68 pass routes through two weeks. Moreau's absence is a slight boost to TE Juwan Johnson's Week 3 fantasy outlook.

The Saints signed TE Jimmy Graham to a one-year deal. Yeah, that Jimmy Graham. The 36-year-old hasn’t played since 2021 when he tallied only 14 catches with the Bears. We’re not counting on Graham to make a fantasy impact alongside Juwan Johnson and Foster Moreau.

Saints TE Foster Moreau announced Monday that his Hodgkins lymphoma is in full remission. Moreau had already been cleared to the point of signing with New Orleans and being expected to take part in training camp. So this merely serves to confirm that he'll be a factor in 2023. And, you know, it's pretty good personal news for the 26-year-old TE. Moreau looks like he could be an issue for TE Juwan Johnson's fantasy upside. See where both sit in our TE rankings.

Saints TE Foster Moreau was a "frequent target" of QB Derek Carr in OTAs and minicamp, according to ESPN's Katherine Terrell, who named Moreau the Saints' surprise offseason standout. Moreau has worked with the first- and second-team offenses and "could compete with Juwan Johnson for snaps as the team's No. 1 or No. 2 tight end," Terrell writes. We're currently projecting Johnson to lead Saints TEs in fantasy points but will keep a close eye on the situation throughout the summer. If nothing else, the gap between Johnson and Moreau shouldn't be as big as it's been in recent fantasy drafts. Johnson is TE17 in FFPC ADP, while Moreau is TE41.

Saints TE Foster Moreau is a full participant in OTAs and no longer needs treatment for his cancer, according to Pro Football Talk. It's been a remarkable recovery since he announced he'd been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma just two months ago. Moreau has since inked a 3-year, $12.2 million deal with New Orleans, where he reunites with QB Derek Carr. Moreau figures to be behind TE Juwan Johnson in the target pecking order, but his role will be worth monitoring this summer.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson said he’s been watching film of former Patriots WR Julian Edelman. Let’s allow Johnson to explain. “I know the type of role I’ll be doing and (Derek Carr) loves those routes," he said at OTAs. Johnson went on to call Edelman "one of the best at those choice routes, short-game routes.” No disagreement here. While the Saints recently signed TE Foster Moreau, there's still a path for Johnson to deliver as a top-15 fantasy TE. Alvin Kamara remains a suspension risk. And it’s tough to trust the health of Michael Thomas.

TE Foster Moreau has agreed to a three-year, $12 million deal with the Saints, according to multiple reports. This is a huge turnaround for a player who had been expected to miss 2023 after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Moreau "has a positive diagnosis" on his recovery and plans to play the coming season. The contract reportedly includes $8 million in guaranteed money, plus another $3 million in incentives. The move reunites Moreau with QB Derek Carr, whom he played with the past four years as a Raider. Moreau will compete for targets with TE Juwan Johnson, who got his own new contract this offseason. Johnson got $12 million over two years, with $11.5 million guaranteed. We'll have to see how their roles fit together this summer. Each is likely to limit the other's ceiling, though, especially with Chris Olave, Michael Thomas, and Alvin Kamara also around.

Free-agent TE Foster Moreau announced Wednesday that a "routine physical" during a visit to New Orleans discovered Hodgkin's lymphoma. Moreau says he's "stepping away from football at this time to fight" cancer. Bet on the soon-to-be 26-year-old missing at least the coming NFL season. We'll see how the treatment goes beyond that.

Raiders QB Derek Carr amassed 295 yards and 3 TDs in Sunday's OT win at Seattle. He hit WR Mack Hollins (4-63 receiving), RB Ameer Abdullah (3-39) and TE Foster Moreau (3-33) for TDs. Carr also tossed a pair of INTs, but he has posted his 2 best fantasy scores of the season in his past 2 games.

Raiders WR Davante Adams racked up 141 yards and 2 TDs on 7 catches among 13 targets. He claimed both of the team's TDs, scoring from 31 and 35 yards out. The latter won the game in OT. WR Mack Hollins followed with 6-52 receiving on 9 targets. No other Raider exceeded 4 targets. TE Foster Moreau caught just 1 pass for the game, though it was a 33-yarder in OT to set up the Adams play.

Raiders TE Foster Moreau logged just 4 targets in Sunday's loss to the Colts, drawing only 10.5% of QB Derek Carr's pass attempts. That belied the strength of his role, however. Moreau ran a route on 92.5% of Carr's 40 dropbacks. That trailed only WR Mack Hollins (by 3 routes) and WR Davante Adams (by 2). If Moreau continues to play that much while Darren Waller's on IR, we'd bet on his target shares picking up. Next comes a Denver defense that plays the pass tough but that also just allowed 5 catches to Titans TE Austin Hooper.

Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow has been placed on IR with an oblique injury. He'll miss at least the next 4 games, making Week 14 his earliest possible return. Renfrow has dealt with a few different injuries this season and averaged just 4.8 targets, 3.5 caches and 32 yards across 6 games. He's cuttable in all redraft leagues. Vegas will now be without Renfrow and TE Darren Waller for at least the next 4 weeks, which should push even more value to RB Josh Jacobs and WR Davante Adams. WR Mack Hollins and TE Foster Moreau should also get target boosts. Keelan Cole figures to take over as the #3 WR but isn't worth adding to fantasy rosters.

Raiders TE Darren Waller has been placed on IR after aggravating his hamstring injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The team reportedly expects Waller to make it back when first eligible, but that's not until Week 14. He's a fine stash on fantasy rosters if you have room, but Waller is also cuttable if you're in a squeeze. His absence leaves Foster Moreau as Vegas' lead TE for at least the next 4 games vs. the Colts, Broncos, Seahawks and Chargers. He's posted strong route rates and averaged 6.3 targets, 3.7 catches and 34 yards in 3 games without Waller this season. Consider Moreau a low-end TE1.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) remained limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited in practice all last week before missing the Jaguars game. We'll keep an eye on Waller's progress over the next few days, leading up to Sunday's game vs. the Colts.

Raiders WR Davante Adams racked up 10 catches for 146 yards and 2 TDs on 17 targets in Sunday's come-from-ahead loss at Jacksonville. He garnered 47.2% target share, 47.6% of QB Derek Carr's completions, 56.4% of the team's receiving yards and the only 2 TDs. TE Foster Moreau ranked 2nd with 5 targets, catching only 2 for 42 yards. WRs Hunter Renfrow (3-26 receiving) and Mack Hollins (2-17) each drew 4 targets. The Raiders host the Colts in Week 10, a defense that entered Sunday as a near-neutral scoring matchup for fantasy QBs but 4th-toughest on WRs.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. That again leaves lead TE duties to Foster Moreau, who’s posted 3-28-0 and 6-31-0 lines with Waller out the past 2 weeks.

ESPN's Adam Schefter calls Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) "unlikely" to play vs. the Jaguars today. "Still is not fully healthy," Schefter adds. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is a bit more optimistic, labeling Waller a game-time decision. "He's as close as he's been," Rapoport tweeted. "The worry is that he aggravates it, so they'll be cautious. But he's got a chance." We'll get Vegas' inactives around 11:30 am ET. But, for now, we're removing Waller from the TE Rankings and moving TE Foster Moreau up.
