The Ravens have activated TE Mark Andrews (ankle) from IR. That solidifies his readiness to play Sunday against the Chiefs. Will he immediately reclaim his pre-injury role? TE Isaiah Likely has played well with Andrews out, and OC Todd Monken told the team website that will factor into how they determine usage. Ultimately, Andrews makes for a risk-reward fantasy play this weekend. Likely gains risk with the return of Andrews but remains in play for small-slate DFS contests. And QB Lamar Jackson can only gain upside with the return of -- historically -- his top target.

The Ravens expect TE Mark Andrews to play in Sunday's AFC Championship vs. the Chiefs, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It'd be Andrews' first game since suffering a cracked fibula and ankle ligament damage on November 16. Andrews practiced all last week, including full workouts on Wednesday and Thursday, but was held out of the Texans game. We'll look for more info on how big a role Andrews is expected to play on Sunday and update his projections accordingly.

The Ravens aren't expected to activate TE Mark Andrews (ankle) from IR ahead of Saturday's game against the Texans, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Andrews has been a full practice participant this week, so we'd guess he'll be ready for next weekend's game -- should Baltimore beat Houston this weekend. His absence will keep TE Isaiah Likely in the starting lineup against a defense that's been third most friendly in the league to TE scoring. Likely sits fourth among TEs in our rankings for the Divisional Round. But he sports upside beyond that position.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's Divisional Round game vs. the Texans. He was a full participant in the final two practices of the week, but HC John Harbaugh said Thursday that Andrews' status for the Houston game remains "up in the air." We'll see if he's activated from IR on Friday afternoon.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (ankle) was upgraded to full participation in Wednesday's practice but was non-committal about his availability for this weekend's game vs. the Texans. “I think it’s how I feel at the end of the day,” Andrews said. “Just knowing how good this team is, how good our players are, how good our tight ends are, if I feel like I’m going to be helpful to the team, I’ll go. If I feel like I’m close but not there, I’ll let these guys go and hopefully get that next weekend.” Andrews fractured his fibula and suffered ligament damage to his left ankle on Nov. 16. He'll be a little over nine weeks removed from the injuries on Saturday. "It’s gotten a lot better week by week," Andrews added. "We’ve made a lot of progress.” We'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow and look for further updates on the plan for Andrews if he plays.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in Tuesday's practice. “We’ll see how it goes," HC John Harbaugh said when asked whether Andrews could play vs. the Texans on Saturday. We'll continue to track his progress.

The Ravens have designated TE Mark Andrews to return from IR. That opens a three-week window for him to practice before the team must decide whether to return him to the active roster. This move doesn't necessarily mean Andrews will be ready for Baltimore's playoff opener next weekend -- or at all during the playoffs. But it's obviously a positive step in that direction. Keep in mind that Andrews remains a high-risk option for full-playoff fantasy football contests. But we have moved the TE up our playoff rankings. We'll keep tracking his progress.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews appears on track to return from his leg injury at some point during the playoffs -- and perhaps even by Baltimore's first game. Greg Scholz of Inside Injuries says (via The Athletic) their data "suggests [Andrews] will reach Optimal Recovery before Baltimore's first game." That would come in Round 2, after the Ravens' bye in the Wild Card round. HC John Harbaugh most recently said in late December that Andrews had avoided setbacks and might even be "a little ahead of schedule" in his rehab, according to Baltimore Beatdown. Andrews suffered a fibula fracture and high-ankle sprain in Week 11 that required surgery shortly thereafter. His return would obviously be good news for the Ravens' offense. It would also hurt the playoff outlook for replacement TE Isaiah Likely. Andrews makes for a boom/bust option in playoff fantasy contests. We likely won't know until next weekend whether Andrews will play in that game. And we can't know until he takes the field whether Andrews will need to work through any limitations. Returning from high-ankle sprains can be especially tricky. Whether you should take a shot on Andrews depends heavily on your contest type. We'd downgrade Likely's standing at least a bit, though.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair his injured ankle, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports. "Andrews is likely out for the year, though as John Harbaugh said, there’s a chance he could return if Baltimore makes a deep playoff run," Garafolo adds. Andrews can be dropped from all redraft rosters.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh said Monday that TE Mark Andrews' ankle injury wasn't as bad as initially feared, according to Luke Jones of WNST in Baltimore. "There might be an outside chance he could get back at some point in time," the coach added. Andrews reportedly still needs to meet with a foot specialist to learn more about his recovery timeline. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo says "it would have to be a deep playoff run" to give Andrews a chance to return. Dropping Andrews this week in your redraft league -- unfortunately -- looks like the right move.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews has been diagnosed with a cracked fibula and an ankle ligament injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "It’s still believed to be a long-term injury," Rapoport adds, but the team will get another opinion from Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte next week. It sounds like Andrews at least has some chance to play again this season -- although that chance is likely slim. He's worth hanging on to in fantasy football at least until we get more information on his status next week.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh says TE Mark Andrews' ankle injury against the Bengals appears likely to end his season, according to multiple reports. That would obviously be a huge loss for the Baltimore offense. Andrews accounted for 23.5% of the team's receiving yards this season entering Thursday night -- despite missing the season's first game. He also leads the team in receiving yards per game and sports the highest receiving success rate among Ravens with at least 10 receptions. TE Isaiah Likely dominated playing time at the position after Andrews left. His 29 routes against the Bengals ranked second on the team, according to Pro Football Focus, trailing only WR Zay Flowers. Likely drew just 2 targets, though, and finished with 0 receptions. He'll be worth some waiver-wire attention ahead of Week 12. But don't count on Likely stepping in for starter-level fantasy production. WR Odell Beckham enjoyed arguably his best performance as a Raven. He led the team with 7 targets and 4 receptions, delivering 116 yards. It was Beckham's largest yardage total since Week 2 of 2019. Unfortunately, he also suffered a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter. We'll see about the severity of that injury heading into Week 12, with Baltimore's bye to follow. Losing Andrews hurts QB Lamar Jackson, but he gets the league's best QB-scoring matchup vs. the Chargers in Week 12. So we might need to wait until after the Week 13 bye to actually see the negative impact.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews injured his left ankle on the opening possession of Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals. He was able to limp off the field under his own power and is officially questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more. Isaiah Likely will take over as Baltimore's lead TE for however long Andrews is out.

Update: Andrews went into the x-ray room on crutches, according to the Prime TV broadcast. Don't expect to see him back out there tonight.

Update: Andrews has officially been ruled out.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews caught just two passes for 44 yards among 4 targets in Sunday's loss to the Browns. Baltimore attempted only 23 passes for the game, though, and ran a mere 50 offensive plays. (They averaged 64.7 per game entering Sunday.) The performance also came against Cleveland's No. 1 rated defense in both pass DVOA and overall DVOA. And if you're thinking that playing Andrews in such a matchup was a mistake, remember that he posted a 5-80-2 receiving line in the first meeting. Baltimore attempted just 19 passes in that meeting. Andrews remains a weekly fantasy starter across matchups.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews found the end zone twice on Sunday vs. the Lions, with catches on 4 of 6 targets for 63 yards. WR Zay Flowers was also productive in the contest, hauling 4 of 6 targets catches for 75 receiving yards. This was a rather impressive performance from the Ravens’ offense considering how tough the Lions’ defense has been to open 2023. We like their odds of continuing their dominance next week vs. the lowly Cardinals.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers logged 6 catches for 50 receiving yards on Sunday vs. the Titans. The rookie also recorded his first career TD in the second quarter of the contest. TE Mark Andrews recorded a team-high 69 receiving yards with 4 catches on 6 targets in Week 6. The Ravens’ passing game hasn’t been explosive thus far in 2023, but Flowers and Andrews routinely deliver fantasy-viable production weekly. They’ll go up against the Lions in Week 7.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews found the end zone twice on Sunday, hauling all 5 targets for 80 yards in the victory vs. the Browns. Rookie WR Zay Flowers had a quiet day, though 3 catches on 4 targets for 56 yards are respectable totals. The Ravens’ passing attack has yet to go full throttle this season, though Week 5 vs. the Steelers will be a good spot for these pass-catchers to thrive.

Ravens WRs Odell Beckham (ankle) and Rashod Bateman (hamstring) have been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. That leaves Nelson Agholor as Baltimore's No. 2 WR and Devin Duvernay as the No. 3. Expect a run-heavy attack from the Ravens, with WR Zay Flowers and TE Mark Andrews dominating targets.
