The Denver Post reports that Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas plans to skip offseason workouts and training as he and the team work on a new contract. Denver placed the franchise tag on Thomas just before the start of free agency, but he doesn't need to sign that tender or report to any team functions until July 15. Fantasy football owners shouldn't worry about this situation at all for now, but it will be one to watch if we get to summer and still have no long-term deal worked out. In the meantime, 2014 rookie Cody Latimer could get some key extra reps with QB Peyton Manning -- starting at Manning's upcoming passing camp at Duke.
Jets WR Demaryius Thomas (knee, hamstring) missed practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Steelers. His absence should mean a few extra targets for WRs Robby Anderson and Jamison Crowder, but those guys remain low-upside fantasy plays in this difficult matchup.
Jets WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) is listed as doubtful for Thursday night's game against the Ravens. He's averaged 5.3 targets per game this season, so his absence opens up a few extra looks for WRs Robby Anderson and Jamison Crowder.
Jets WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, ankle) is active for today’s game against the Dolphins. Note that he played just 60% of New York’s offensive snaps last week. So despite this plus matchup, Thomas is no better than a WR4.
Jets WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. He’s been on the injury report with the hamstring for the past few weeks now, but the ankle issue is new. It’s especially noteworthy after Thomas’ snap rate sunk to 60% last week. Despite a plus matchup with Miami, Thomas is looking like a shaky Week 9 fantasy play.
Jets WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) is "likely" to play against the Eagles on Sunday, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. Thomas is officially listed as questionable after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. He should slide in as New York's #3 WR but isn't a fantasy option with Luke Falk under center.
