Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Chargers. Cecil Shorts and Allen Robinson figure to serve as Jacksonville’s top 2 WRs. Both guys are just low-end WR3 in fantasy.

Jaguars WRs Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and Allen Hurns (ankle) are active for today’s game against the Colts. Those guys will serve as the top 2 receivers, with Allen Robinson as the #3. None of them are strong fantasy plays. WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) is out.

Update: Robinson, not Hurns, will start alongside Shorts.

Jaguars WR Allen Hurns hobbled off the field with about 20 seconds left in Sunday's loss to Washington. He hurt his left foot/ankle, exited on a cart and was reportedly on crutches after the game. Any missed time would help fellow rookie Allen Robinson stay on the field after Robinson caught 4 passes in Week 2.

Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's opener against the Eagles.  Shorts struggled with a bum hamstring throughout August and tweaked it in practice this week.  His absence leaves rookies Marqise Lee, Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson as Jacksonville's top 3 WRs.  Lee is the best bet to lead the way in targets but is only worth considering as a cheap filler in daily fantasy games.

Jaguars WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) won't play in the preseason finale.  He's been sidelined about 3-and-a-half weeks now.  Remember that he also missed time with hamstring problems in the spring.  It's unclear if Robinson will be ready for Week 1, but he's off the redraft radar for now.

Jaguars WR Allen Robinson went down with a hamstring injury in Thursday's practice.  He's expected to be out "an extended period of time, at least two weeks," according to the team.  It's worth noting that Robinson missed time in the spring with problems with the same hamstring.  The rookie was reportedly impressing with 1st-team reps earlier this week, but this injury kills any chance he had at being an early-season fantasy factor.  Ignore Robinson in your redraft leagues for now.  With WR Cecil Shorts also out with a bum hammy, WR Marqise Lee will be Jacksonville's clear-cut #1 WR in camp.  It's a chance for him to build chemistry with his QBs and enter the season as a big part of the passing game.  Lee is moving up our WR Rankings.

Jaguars HC Gus Bradley announced that WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) will be sidelined "several weeks" with a hamstring strain suffered on Friday.  Shorts also missed time this spring with a bum hammy.  He should be back in time for Week 1, but durability is becoming a major problem.  Shorts missed 2 games in 2012 and 3 this past year.  It's tough to feel comfortable with him as more than a WR4 in fantasy.  We'll see if rookie WRs Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson can take advantage of Shorts' absence over the next few weeks.

Jaguars WR Allen Robinson is expected to miss "a few weeks" with a hamstring injury, according to insider Ryan O'Halloran.  That likely knocks him out of June minicamp.  “We’ll see how it goes,” HC Gus Bradley said. “It was unfortunate – a long pass and he tweaked it a little bit. He’s getting treatment and doing things right and we’ll see how fast he comes along.”  Robinson should be fine for training camp, but any missed time is bad news for a rookie.  Robinson is battling fellow rook Marqise Lee for Jacksonville's #2 WR job.  Consider Lee the slight favorite for now.

Jaguars rookie WR Allen Robinson has already reported to the team facilities and is learning the ropes from WR Cecil Shorts.  “I can learn a lot from Cecil,” Robinson said. “I learned a lot today, just in terms of route running, the system and how things work.”  Fellow rookie WR Marqise Lee hasn't been able to join the Jags because USC hasn't graduated yet.  That gives Robinson the early edge for the starting job opposite Shorts, although the battle won't be decided until August.

The Jaguars continued to re-tool their passing game by adding WR Allen Robinson with the 61st pick.  He joins fellow rookies Blake Bortles and Marqise Lee in Jacksonville.  The 2 new WRs are more confirmation that the Jags aren't counting on having Justin Blackmon this year.  Robinson has the look of a possession receiver in the pros.  He only has 4.6 speed but goes 6'2, 220-pounds with good body control and reliable hands.  He's also coming from a pro-style offense.  Robinson and Lee figure to battle for the starting job opposite Cecil Shorts this summer.
