Saints TE Juwan Johnson (ankle) missed his 2nd straight practice on Friday, putting him in danger of missing Monday night’s game vs. the Bucs. We’ll see how he’s listed on the final injury report on Saturday afternoon. Johnson’s absence would leave Adam Trautman as New Orleans’ lead TE and potentially mean a bigger pass-catching role for Taysom Hill.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson missed Thursday's practice with an ankle injury. Perhaps that explains why he played a season-low 47% of the offensive snaps last week. We'll see if Johnson is able to get back on the field tomorrow, ahead of Monday night's game vs. the Bucs.

Coming off a pair of bad outings, Saints QB Andy Dalton proved efficient and productive in Sunday's win over the Rams. He completed 21 of 25 passes for 260 yards and 3 TDs. Dalton found WR Chris Olave for a 53-yard score, tossing his other 2 TDs to TE Juwan Johnson and WR Jarvis Landry. Olave was the only Saint to crack 50 receiving yards, taking his 5 catches for 102 yards. New Orleans heads to San Francisco in Week 12.

Olave trailed Landry by 1 target and 1 snap but ran 2 more routes. Week 11 holds a home date with the Rams.

Saints TE Adam Trautman (ankle) put in a full practice on Saturday and isn't listed on the final injury report. He'll be back for Monday night's game vs. the Ravens after missing the previous 2 weeks. Trautman isn't a fantasy option but does put a slight dent in TE Juwan Johnson's outlook.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson (hamstring) is active for today’s game against the Raiders. TE Adam Trautman (ankle) is inactive. Johnson was added to Thursday's injury report and then limited in Friday's practice, so he carries elevated risk today.

Johnson was added to Thursday's injury report and then limited in Friday's practice. Trautman returned to a limited practice on Friday after sitting out the previous 2 days. With both guys at less than 100%, try to avoid this situation in Week 8 fantasy lineups.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson was added to Thursday's injury report with a hamstring and limited in practice. So his availability for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders is now in question. Check back tomorrow for another update on Johnson. TE Adam Trautman (ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday.

Saints TE Adam Trautman (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. If he remains out for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders, TE Juwan Johnson will be a low-end spot-start option in fantasy lineups.

Saints TE Adam Trautman is expected to miss Thursday night's game against the Cardinals after leaving Sunday's loss with an ankle injury, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. "Early signs are that he's avoided a serious issue," Fowler adds. Juwan Johnson should benefit from Trautman's absence and be a TE2-level option for fantasy football lineups in Week 7.

Saints QB Andy Dalton completed 20 of 28 passes (71.4%) for 236 yards (8.4 yards per attempt) and 1 TD in Sunday's narrow loss to the Vikings in London. He spread the targets around, with WR Chris Olave drawing a team-high 7, WR Marquez Callaway getting 6, TE Juwan Johnson seeing 4 and no one else topping 3. Olave's 4 receptions and 67 yards led the team. Four other Saints caught 3 balls. Jarvis Landry came away with a mere 2 catches for 7 yards on 2 targets. We'll see about QB Jameis Winston's status for the Week 5 home date with Seattle.

The Saints have ruled WR Michael Thomas (foot) out for Sunday morning's game against the Vikings in London. Thomas' absence leaves target share available for WRs Chris Olave and Jarvis Landry, as well as TE Juwan Johnson. We'll see how much longer this foot issue is expected to hamper Thomas.

Saints WR Michael Thomas checked in 2nd among Saints in targets in Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers, catching 6 of his 9 looks for 65 yards and the team's only TD. TE Juwan Johnson checked in just behind the 3 wideouts in route rate, running a route on 68.8% of Jameis Winston drop backs. His 7 targets ranked 3rd on the team and produced a decent 4-40 receiving line.

Saints TE Adam Trautman is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after suffering an MCL sprain in Sunday's loss to the Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. That makes the 2nd-year TE droppable in just about all redraft fantasy football leagues. We'll see whether Juwan Johnson can get back into the picture, but Nick Vannett and Garrett Griffin both played ahead of him at Philly. Vannett figures to be the next guy up.

Saints TE Adam Trautman went to the locker room on a cart during Monday night's preseason game. He had been getting checked for a foot or ankle injury in the sideline tent before riding to the locker room. We'll keep an eye on this situation.
