Bucs WR Mike Evans (knee) is not listed on the final Week 9 injury report. He didn’t practice Wednesday but was limited on Thursday and a full-go on Friday. Evans is safe to keep locked into fantasy lineups for a likely shootout vs. the Panthers.

Bucs WR Mike Evans (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday. He's trending in the right direction, although it'd be nice to see him get in a full workout on Friday. Check back then for another update.

Bucs WR Mike Evans (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. We noticed him get shaken up late in the OT loss to the Bengals, but we never got an update from the team. We'll continue to monitor his status throughout the rest of the week If Evans can't play against the Panthers on Sunday, Chris Godwin and DeSean Jackson would turn into every-down players.

The NFL is expected to suspend Bucs QB Jameis Winston 3 games for violating its personal conduct policy, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The ban stems from a March 2016 incident when Winston allegedly groped an Uber driver. Charges were never filed against Winston, but the NFL has taken a hard line in these situations since the Ray Rice debacle. Schefter does add that "the league still has not notified Winston of its official decision, and the circumstances surrounding it still could lead to an increase or decrease of the three games." So this doesn't sound officially official yet. But fantasy drafters should be planning for now on Winston missing the first 3 games of the season vs. the Saints, Eagles and Steelers. It's a blow to his best-ball value and makes him tough to draft in standard-sized lineup-setting leagues. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is in line to start while Winston serves his suspension. Fitzpatrick was serviceable in 5 appearances last year, completing 58.9% of his passes with 7 TDs vs. 3 INTs. He's unlikely to be more than a QB2 option -- especially with no teams on bye during those first 3 weeks -- but is at least capable of keeping the Bucs' skill-position guys afloat.

Bucs WR Chris Godwin lined up on the outside with the 1st-team offense during Tuesday's minicamp session, according to Pewter Report's Trevor Sikkema. Mike Evans was the other outside WR, with DeSean Jackson in the slot. This is clearly Tampa's most dangerous 3-WR grouping (despite how reliable Adam Humphries has been) and would make Godwin a potential breakout candidate this year. He closed his rookie campaign with 10 catches for 209 yards and a score over the final 2 weeks and has been buzzing all spring. We'll continue to watch how this WR corps shapes up. Jameis Winston, meanwhile, continues to look like 1 of the most undervalued QBs in early fantasy drafts.

The NFL has suspended Buccaneers WR Mike Evans 1 game for fighting in Sunday's loss to the Saints, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports. His own coach said Monday that he thought Evans should have been ejected for blindsiding Saints CB Marshon Lattimore as the rookie scuffled with Bucs QB Jameis Winston near the sideline. We'll see about an appeals process here, but we're not at all surprised by the suspension. Plan on not having Evans for Sunday's upside matchup against the Jets -- which will also not include Winston (shoulder). Evans' absence will leave a bunch of targets available for DeSean Jackson, Adam Humphries, Cameron Brate and others. It should also mean more playing time for rookie WR Chris Godwin, who reached 30% playing time Sunday for just the 3rd time this season. Evans' absence significantly lowers the upside for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The NFL has moved the Bucs-Dolphins game originally scheduled for this Sunday to Week 11. Both teams were scheduled to have a bye that week but will now play 16 straight weeks from Week 2 to 17. We just removed all Bucs and Dolphins from the Week 1 Rankings. The winner here is RB Doug Martin, whose 3-game suspension will now cost him a game against the tough Giants run defense rather than the Dolphins.

The NFL has decided that the Buccaneers and Dolphins won't play on Sunday because of Hurricane Irma. It's not yet clear when that game will happen, but if you have key players involved in that matchup and a waiver run tonight in your fantasy football league, then make sure that you're covered for Week 1.

Sunday's opener between the Bucs and Dolphins is in limbo as Hurricane Irma bears down on Florida. The league held a conference call this morning to discuss the situation, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, but no decision was made. The Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud hears that the Bucs are expecting the game to be moved to Week 11, when both teams currently have a bye week. The other option is to move the game elsewhere. We're expecting to have clarity on the situation within the next 24 hours.

The Bucs have reached an agreement with WR DeSean Jackson that will become official later today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. This is a perfect fit on paper. Tampa was desperate for a #2 WR after using Adam Humphries in that role for much of last season. D-Jax is a huge upgrade and will provide a field-stretching presence opposite Mike Evans. Evans is unlikely to see the 173 targets or 30.3% target share he did last season. But he'll remain the clear top dog and should be more efficient with Jackson drawing away some defensive attention. Jackson, meanwhile, has proven capable of producing without big volume. Five different times he's finished as a top 30 non-PPR WR on fewer than 120 targets. QB Jameis Winston is also a big winner here.

Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught just 4 of 8 targets for 42 yards vs. New Orleans. The Saints have historically defended Evans well, and a lack of volume helped their case on Sunday. Jameis Winston attempted just 26 passes (and completed 16) on a day that found the Bucs go run-heavy (35 attempts). Evans will remain an upside WR1 for Sunday’s tilt at Dallas.

Bucs WR Mike Evans (concussion) has received full medical clearance. Barring a setback, he'll play against the Bears this weekend. Get him into fantasy lineups.

Bucs WR Mike Evans (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That means he's close to receiving full medical clearance -- if he hasn't already. Fantasy football's #2 WR should be penciled into Week 10 lineups.

Bucs WR Mike Evans (concussion) took part in Monday's unofficial practice. It's unclear if he's received full clearance, but he's obviously trending in the right direction. You can tentatively count on Evans playing against the Bears this weekend. We'll continue to keep an eye on him throughout the week.

Bucs HC Dirk Koetter confirmed on Friday that WR Mike Evans sustained a concussion in the loss to the Falcons. The good news is that it's the 1st concussion of his career, and he has 10 days before his next game. We'll track Evans' progress through the protocol.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson has been diagnosed with a torn ACL, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, and has been placed on IR. The injury occurred 2 weeks ago, but V-Jax practiced on Monday before realizing that something wasn't right. This might be the end of the line for the 33-year-old, who was ineffective through the first 5 games, averaging just 11.5 yards per catch. Adam Humphries is next up on Tampa's depth chart, although he's more of a slot guy. WR Louis Murphy, who was activated from the PUP list on Monday, is also an option. Regardless, WR Mike Evans will continue to dominate targets.

Update: ESPN's Ed Werder reports that Jackson has not yet been diagnosed with a torn ACL. He's still heading to IR, but there's a chance he's able to return before the end of the season. He remains droppable in all fantasy leagues.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson suffered a knee injury against the Panthers back in Week 5. Tampa Bay was off last week, but it sounds like V-Jax is in danger of missing Sunday's game vs. the 49ers. That'd likely mean a bigger role for WR Adam Humphries, although WR Mike Evans will continue to dominate targets.

Cardinals DC James Bettcher says Cardinals top CB Patrick Peterson won't be following Bucs WR Mike Evans around the formation Sunday. “I think there will be some situations where those two guys will be together,” Bettcher said of Peterson on Evans, according to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss. “There’ll be situations where he’ll be on Jackson, too. We’ll see on Sunday how they play us and how they do some stuff what those matchups will be.” That's good news for Evans' fantasy outlook, as he should see Arizona rookie CB Brandon Williams at times. Tampa Bay's passing game could prove dangerous all season. At the least, both Evans and Vincent Jackson are certainly in play across full-season and DFS fantasy formats this week.
