Jaguars WR Brian Thomas injured a shoulder in the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Browns. He headed back to the locker room and is officially questionable to return. Stay tuned for an update.

Jets WR Omar Cooper is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Titans with an ankle injury. The rookie caught his only target for 30 yards before exiting. We'll update his status when we know more.

Browns RB Dylan Sampson suffered a knee injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars. He headed back to the locker room and is questionable to return. We'll update Sampson's status when we know more. His absence leaves Cleveland's backfield to Quinshon Judkins and Raheim Sanders.

Update: Sampson has been ruled out.

Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr. is inactive for today's game against the Falcons. He's officially out with a back injury, though his ongoing stalemate over a new contract has to make you wonder the true cause.

Jaguars RB LeQuint Allen (hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. He only got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday but is evidently ready to handle a passing-down role today. Allen isn’t a legitimate fantasy option.

Buccaneers WR Jalen McMillan (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Bengals. He was limited in practice all week, so he should have a chance to make it back for Week 2. McMillan’s absence today gives rookie Ted Hurst a chance to run as the No. 3 WR behind Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin.

Buccaneers RB Sean Tucker (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Bengals. Joshua Williams was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday to serve as the No. 3 RB behind Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell. Irving and Gainwell got slight boosts in our RB rankings with Tucker out.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Lions. RBs Kendre Miller and C.J. Donaldson are active behind RB Travis Etienne, who should handle the majority of the backfield work.

Bears WR Rome Odunze (calf) is active for today’s game vs. the Panthers. He was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable, so there’s elevated risk here. Check your Team Dashboard to see if Odunze belongs in your starting lineup.

Bills RB Ty Johnson (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Texans. He ran a route on 36% of Buffalo’s pass plays and drew a 6.7% target share last year, so his absence should mean more passing-down work for RB James Cook.

Rams Edge Myles Garrett will have arthroscopic knee surgery and head to IR. That means he'll miss at least the next four games. We'll see whether the veteran can be ready for Week 6.

The Raiders believe there's a "realistic chance" TE Brock Bowers plays vs. the Chargers next week, a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter. "Team will see how he’s feeling this week, but a potential return next week is within the realm of possibility," Schefter adds. The initial reporting on Bowers had him expected to miss 1-2 games, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Friday that Bowers would "probably" miss Week 2. Meniscus trims generally cost players 3+ weeks, so we remain skeptical that Bowers will make it back for Week 2. But we'll keep you updated on his progress this coming week.

Colts WR Alec Pierce will be on a snap count vs. the Ravens today, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports. "I don't expect him to be a full-go," Garafolo says. "Hard to put an exact number on it, but I had someone tell me about 20-30 plays expected for Pierce." That'd be less than half of the Colts' offensive snaps, although most would likely come on passing plays. Still, Pierce would be a huge risk in Week 1 fantasy lineups.

Giants WR Malik Nabers' status for tonight's game vs. the Cowboys remains "murky at best," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Giants "have not gotten clarity from Nabers," who will ultimately decide whether he plays in this one. New York notably elevated WRs Braxton Berrios and Dalen Cambre from the practice squad as insurance. The late kickoff leaves fantasy owners in a tough spot here. If you're hoping to start Nabers, you need to have a backup option from this game or Monday night's Broncos-Chiefs game on your roster

Patriots WR A.J. Brown is expected to miss 6 weeks with his high-ankle sprain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. High-ankle sprains are generally 4- to 6-week injuries, so it sounds like Brown's is on the more significant side. That also adds more risk to his profile when he does make it back on the field, although hopefully the Patriots will give him time to get back to as close to 100% as possible. New England's bye isn't until Week 11, so Brown won't get any help there.

Seahawks QB Sam Darnold has a glute injury, rather than the previously reported hip, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport confirms that Darnold will miss Week 2's meeting with the Cardinals and will "probably" miss a couple of games. Seattle plays at Washington in Week 3 before returning home to face the Chargers in Week 4. Week 5 is a big divisional home game vs. the 49ers. It sounds like Darnold should at least be back for that one, if not sooner.

49ers WR De'Zhaun Stribling is expected to be out "at least" a month with a deltoid sprain to his left ankle, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Stribling is still seeking opinions, and while surgery is not currently planned, it is possible," Rapoport adds. "SF will be cautious."

Bears WR Rome Odunze (calf) is expected to play vs. the Panthers today, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Odunze is listed as questionable after a limited week of practice but told the media on Friday that he'd play. The calf still adds some downside to Odunze's Week 1 profile, leaving him as a risk/reward WR3 in our rankings.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (knee) is not expected to play vs. the Lions today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It's a slight surprise after Kamara was a full-go in Friday's practice, but he's still not even 4 weeks removed from his MCL sprain. Kamara's absence should mean more passing-down snaps for RB Travis Etienne, who should see plenty of volume today.

Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Chargers today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Love is listed as questionable after a limited week of practice and hinted on Thursday that he won’t be at 100%. That leaves the rookie as a risk/reward Week 1 fantasy play.
