Eagles HC Doug Pederson said Saturday that he doesn't believe TE Zach Ertz (ankle) will be ready to return for Monday night's game against the Seahawks. Pederson was more optimistic earlier this week, so it seems like Ertz didn't progress as hoped over the past few days. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 13. Dallas Goedert is as good a target bet as any TE not named Kelce or Waller in Week 12.

Eagles HC Doug Pederson said TE Zach Ertz (ankle) is "trending in the right direction" to play against the Seahawks on Monday night. Ertz has been sidelined since Week 6 but was having a disappointing season even before going down, averaging just 4 catches and 30 yards per game, despite seeing 7.5 targets.

Eagles HC Doug Pederson admitted Friday that TE Zach Ertz (ankle) is unlikely to play against the Browns this weekend. He returned to practice this week but "probably needs a little more time," according to Pederson. Ertz's continued absence makes TE Dallas Goedert a relatively strong target bet.

The Eagles have designated TE Zach Ertz (ankle) to return from IR. We'll see if he's ready to play against the Browns this weekend. Ertz, of course, was struggling before the injury, averaging just 4 catches, 30 yards and 0.2 TDs across 6 games. Philly has 3 weeks to decide whether to add Ertz to the active roster.

Jets HC Adam Gase named QB Joe Flacco his starter for Sunday's game against the Chargers. QB Sam Darnold's throwing shoulder still isn't back to 100%. Flacco turned in the Jets' best QB performance of the season last time out, chucking for 262 yards and 3 scores vs. the Patriots. Still, he'd be a desperation Week 11 fantasy play.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (knee) put in a full week of practice, including full workouts on Thursday and Friday, and isn’t listed on the final injury report. We’re expecting him to be back in his usual role against the Giants this weekend. Sanders averaged 15.5 carries and 5.8 targets in 4 full games earlier this season.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. At least he got on the field, although it would have been nice to see him get in a full workout. We're tentatively expecting Sanders to return for this weekend's game vs. the Giants, but we wouldn't go dropping RB Boston Scott just yet.

The Eagles expect RB Miles Sanders (knee) to return to practice after this week's bye, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It sounds like we should expect to have the Philly starter back in fantasy lineups for Week 10. We'll certainly track his participation through the week.

Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew (thumb) is out for Sunday’s game against the Texans. 6th-round rookie QB Jake Luton is expected to get the start but is well off the fantasy radar.

Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew (thumb) is not expected to play against the Texans next Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Veteran Mike Glennon and rookie Jake Luton will reportedly compete for the Week 9 starting job in practice. Neither guy will be a bankable fantasy play, despite the plus matchup. It's unclear if Jacksonville will go back to Minshew once he's healthy.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (ankle) is active for tonight’s game against the Cowboys. He carries elevated risk in his 1st outing since Week 3. But Goedert is a strong fantasy play tonight if he plays anything close to his normal role.

Eagles WR Jalen Reagor (thumb) is active for tonight’s game against the Cowboys. It’s unclear how big a role he’ll play in his 1st action since Week 2. But talent plus matchup gives him plenty of upside in this one.

The Eagles are activating TE Dallas Goedert (ankle) ahead of Sunday night's game against the Cowboys, according to multiple reports. Goedert reportedly surprised coaches in practice this week with how far along he is in his return from a Week 3 fracture in his ankle. It's tough to know just how much Goedert will play in his 1st game back, but we'd assume something near his usual role. Otherwise, it would seem to make more sense to keep him out through the Week 9 bye. Goedert's return dampens the outlook for TE Richard Rodgers, but there's room for both to produce amid a still-shallow pass-catcher depth chart.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (knee) is out for Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys. He figures to be back after Philly's Week 9 bye. Meanwhile, Boston Scott gets another game as the Eagles' lead back and is a borderline RB1 vs. Dallas' 24th-ranked RB defense.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (knee) remained sidelined on Thursday. Don't bank on him playing against the Cowboys on Sunday night. That'd leave Boston Scott as Philly's lead back -- and a borderline RB1 in fantasy lineups.

Eagles WR Jalen Reagor (thumb) will return for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys, according to insider Geoff Mosher. The rookie has been out since Week 2 after surgery to repair a torn ligament in his thumb. It's unclear how big a role he'll play in the 1st game back -- but he should at least be in game shape considering this wasn't a lower-body injury. Reagor is worth a look as a WR4 or flex in this plus matchup.

X-rays this week revealed that Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew has multiple fractures and a strained ligament in his right (throwing) thumb, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Minshew has reportedly been experiencing discomfort in that thumb since the Texans game back in Week 5. That at least partially explains his uneven play over the last 3 games. Minshew has a Week 8 bye, but it's unclear if he'll be able to play come Week 9. If not, Jacksonville would turn to either veteran Mike Glennon or 6th-round rookie Jake Luton.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (knee) remained sidelined on Wednesday. That doesn't bode well for his chances of returning for Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys. Philly probably thinks it can win that game without Sanders -- and then comes a bye week. Sanders' absence would again leave Boston Scott as the Eagles' lead back.

The Eagles have designated TE Dallas Goedert to return from IR. That means Goedert will start practicing with the team this week. Philly will have 3 weeks to decide whether to activate him in full. We'll see if Goedert can make it back onto the active roster for this weekend, but it still seems more likely that he remains out until the other side of the Week 9 bye.

The Eagles have activated WR Jalen Reagor (thumb) from IR. He's about 5 weeks removed from a torn UCL that was expected to sideline him for 6-8 weeks. Don't bank on the rookie playing against the Cowboys on Sunday night, but it looks like he's on track to return after the Week 9 bye. He's worth stashing now, with the chance to grab a big role for an Eagles pass-catching corps still dealing with a ton of injuries.

Update: The team has activated the 21-day practice window for Reagor. That means the Eagles have 3 weeks to decide whether to bring him back from IR or shut him down for the season. So that means we could see the rookie back on the active roster in time for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys ... or we could be waiting until after the Week 9 bye. We'll watch him through the week.
