Treylon Burks Runs as Top-3 WR

        11:47pm UTC 12/21/25

Commanders WR Treylon Burks made just 2 catches for 30 yards in Saturday's loss to the Eagles, but it was still an encouraging outing for a guy who's had a rough career to date. Burks led Washington with five targets and ran just two fewer routes (22) than Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel.

        Marcus Mariota Hurts Right Hand

        1:12am UTC 12/21/25

Commanders QB Marcus Mariota injured his right (throwing) hand in the third quarter of Saturday's game vs. the Eagles and did not return. He was also checked for a concussion but was cleared. QB Josh Johnson replaced Mariota, completing 5 of 9 passes for 43 yards and an INT. We'll look for further updates on Mariota's injury. Washington already said QB Jayden Daniels won't play again this season, so we could be looking at a Johnson-led offense for the final two weeks of the season. That'd be a big downgrade for the pass catchers.

        Deebo Samuel Active

        4:37pm UTC 12/14/25

Commanders WR Deebo Samuel (illness) is active for today’s game vs. the Giants. We haven’t heard anything about his playing time being limited today, so Samuel has not moved in the Week 15 WR rankings.

Deebo Samuel Expected To Play Week 15

        12:58pm UTC 12/14/25

Commanders WR Deebo Samuel (illness) is expected to play vs. the Giants today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. He missed Friday's practice with an illness and is listed as questionable. But unless we hear otherwise, we're projecting Samuel to play his usual role today.

Deebo Samuel Questionable For Week 15

        9:05pm UTC 12/12/25

Commanders WR Deebo Samuel is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Giants after missing Friday’s practice with an illness. Players rarely miss games with illnesses, so we’re still expecting Samuel to play. But his status will be worth checking on Sunday morning.

Jayden Daniels Will Start Week 14

        5:20pm UTC 12/5/25

Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) will start this weekend's game vs. the Vikings, HC Dan Quinn confirmed on Friday. Daniels returned to practice last week and then graduated to full participation on Thursday. The left elbow injury won't impact his passing, but it's possible that Daniels' rushing production is limited, at least in his first game back. That knocks him a bit below his usual spot in the weekly QB rankings, but Daniels is still in the mix as a risk/reward QB1 play this week. QB Marcus Mariota has played well this season, but consider Daniels' return an upgrade for Washington's pass catchers.

Terry McLaurin Returns With Massive Target Share

        12:09pm UTC 12/1/25

After playing in only one game since Week 3, Washington WR Terry McLaurin returned to the Commanders' lineup and absorbed a team-high 14 targets in Washington's 27-26 overtime loss to Denver. McLaurin's presence made an immediate impact on Washington's offense. The Commanders racked up 419 yards of offense on Denver's elite defense, but it wasn't enough as the Broncos won their ninth straight.

Terry McLaurin Out For Week 10

        4:45am UTC 11/8/25

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin (quad) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Lions. With WRs Noah Brown and Luke McCaffrey on IR, Washington is down to Deebo Samuel, Jaylin Lane, and Chris Moore as its top three WRs. Samuel is the only bankable fantasy play.

Quinn: Terry McLaurin Unlikely To Play Week 10

        8:47pm UTC 11/3/25

Commanders HC Dan Quinn admitted Monday that WR Terry McLaurin (quad) is unlikely to play vs. the Lions this weekend. That's not a surprise after NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Sunday morning that McLaurin could be out through the team's Week 12 bye. With WRs Noah Brown and Luke McCaffrey also out, Washington will be down to WRs Deebo Samuel, Chris Moore, Jaylin Lane, and Treylon Burks against Detroit -- catching passes from QB Marcus Mariota.

Luke McCaffrey Headed To IR With Broken Collarbone

        2:09pm UTC 11/3/25

Commanders WR Luke McCaffrey broke his collarbone in Sunday night's loss to the Seahawks and will be placed on IR, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. McCaffrey will "likely" miss the rest of the season, Rapoport adds. He can be dropped in all redraft leagues. It's another blow to a Washington WR corps that's missed Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown for much of the year. McLaurin could miss another couple of games, while Brown is out for at least one more. That leaves Deebo Samuel, Chris Moore, and Jaylin Lane as the team's top three WRs for this weekend's game vs. the Lions. Treylon Burks finished fourth among Commanders WRs in routes vs. Seattle after being elevated from the practice squad on Saturday.

Terry McLaurin Out For Week 9 With Re-Injured Quad

        8:08pm UTC 10/29/25

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin suffered a setback with his quad injury in Monday night's loss to the Chiefs and is out for Week 9, HC Dan Quinn said Wednesday. McLaurin missed four weeks with this injury the first time, and players often miss more time with setbacks. That's just speculation -- and we'll look for more info on McLaurin's status -- but fantasy managers should plan to be without him beyond Week 9.

Terry McLaurin & Deebo Samuel Will Play Week 8

        6:50pm UTC 10/25/25

Commanders WRs Terry McLaurin (quad) and Deebo Samuel (heel) are off the final injury report and will play vs. the Chiefs on Monday night. Both guys were full participants in practice all week, so they should be ready for full workloads. They'll be catching passes from QB Marcus Mariota, though, against Kansas City's sixth-ranked WR defense. That has McLaurin and Samuel sitting in WR3 territory in the Week 8 rankings.

Terry McLaurin & Deebo Samuel Full-Go Thursday

        8:10pm UTC 10/23/25

Commanders WRs Terry McLaurin (quad) and Deebo Samuel (heel) were full participants in Thursday's practice. That puts both guys on track to play vs. the Chiefs on Monday night. McLaurin has been sidelined since Week 3 and had gotten in just one limited practice since then (last Wednesday). Samuel has been battling this heel issue since Week 5 and sat out last Sunday's loss to the Cowboys. Both guys carry elevated risk coming off the injuries, but the full practices suggest they'll be ready for something close to their usual roles on Monday night. They're also facing a Chiefs defense that ranks sixth in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs and will be catching passes from QB Marcus Mariota. Consider both McLaurin and Samuel WR3s for Week 8.

No Deebo Samuel for Commanders at Dallas

        6:35pm UTC 10/18/25

Washington has downgraded WR Deebo Samuel to out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. He's not even traveling with the team, thanks to the heel injury that he played through in last Monday night's loss to the Bears. Samuel still led the team's pass catchers in playing time for that contest.
