The Giants are signing WR Jamison Crowder to a 1-year deal, according to CBS Sports' Josina Anderson. The G-Men continue to stockpile slot receivers, with Crowder joining Parris Campbell, Wan'Dale Robinson and Sterling Shepard as options on the inside. We'll see about the details of Crowder's contract, but he's probably not even a lock to make the final roster. Turning 30 in June, Crowder caught 6 balls in 4 games for the Bills last year, missing the rest of the season with an ankle injury.

The Giants are signing WR Parris Campbell, according to The Score's Jordan Schultz. Finally healthy last year, Campbell set career highs across the board with 63 catches, 623 yards and 3 TDs. That was still only good for a 64th-place finish among WRs in PPR points per game. Campbell finds plenty of opportunity in the Giants' WR corps -- but we'll see how he fits alongside WR Wan'Dale Robinson. Both of those guys do their best work from the slot. Robinson, of course, is rehabbing a November ACL tear.

Update: Campbell got a 1-year deal, $3 million deal that can be worth up to $6.7 million via incentives.

Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. drew a team-high 8 targets and caught a team-high 6 passes in Sunday's lopsided loss at the Giants. He managed just 41 yards but secured the team's only TD (from QB Sam Ehlinger). Pittman remains among the top 30 WRs in PPR points per game despite playing with 3 separate (poor) QBs this season. We'll see how Indianapolis addresses that position this offseason, after applying different Band-Aids each of the past 3 years. Pittman heads into the final year of his rookie contract -- and age-26 season -- in 2023. WR Parris Campbell led the team with 52 receiving yards Sunday on 3 catches (6 targets).

Colts WR Michael Pittman caught 10 balls for 60 yards in Saturday's OT loss to the Vikings. He drew 14 targets, accounting for 42.4% of Indy's total pass attempts. No other Colt drew more than 4 looks or exceeded 2 receptions. WRs Parris Campbell and Alec Pierce tied for 2nd in targets. Campbell caught 2 balls for 13 yards. Pierce went catchless. The Colts finish up with the Chargers and Giants the next 2 weeks.

Colts WR Michael Pittman set season-lows in targets (4), catches (2) and yards (16) in Week 13. Yikes. Pittman was shadowed by CB Trevon Diggs for 83% of his routes, per Next Gen Stats. Diggs didn’t give up a single reception, as he blanketed Pittman all night. Despite the tough matchup, it’s certainly a disappointing result considering the production from Alec Pierce (4-86-1) and Parris Campbell (4-43). Pittman will look to rebound Sunday at Minnesota.

Colts WR Alec Pierce caught just 3 passes for 28 yards in Sunday's loss to the Eagles, but he drew a team-high 8 targets. That came in the 1st game all season in which Pierce ran more routes than WR Parris Campbell. Michael Pittman (7) and Campbell (6) finished close behind in targets. Pittman led the team with 6 catches and 75 yards. Campbell caught 5 balls for 67 yards. Next up for Indy: an upside passing matchup with Pittsburgh.

The targets returned Sunday for Colts WR Parris Campbell, with QB Matt Ryan taking back over for Sam Ehlinger. Campbell matched WR Michael Pittman for the team leads in targets (9) and receptions (7) in the win over the Raiders. He turned those into 76 yards and the team's lone TD catch (from 35 yards out). Pittman gained just 53 yards on his 7 catches (7.6 per reception). TE Kyren Granson checked in 3rd with 4 catches for 57 yards. Campbell now has 9+ targets and 7+ receptions in each of the past 3 Ryan games.

Colts QB Sam Ehlinger threw for just 103 yards on 15-of-29 passing in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. He threw an INT and took 9 sacks. Ehlinger did run for 39 yards on 5 attempts to lead Indy in rushing. WR Michael Pittman finished with only 3 catches for 22 yards on a team-high 6 targets. Parris Campbell posted a 2-15 receiving line on 5 targets. WR Alec Pierce drew just 2 looks, catching 1 for 23 yards. A visit to the Raiders lies next on the schedule.

Colts QB Sam Ehlinger threw for 201 yards in his 1st NFL start Sunday against the Commanders and ran for 15 yards on 6 attempts. He took 2 sacks and lost a fumble, but it doesn't sound like he did anything to jeopardize his role. "I thought he threw the ball well, I thought he looked poised, made good decisions, gave us a chance," HC Frank Reich told reporters afterward, according to The AP. "We'll look at the film more closely, but my first impression was that he played well." Ehlinger targeted WR Michael Pittman with 39% of his pass attempts (9 of 23). WR Alec Pierce finished 2nd with 5 targets. WR Parris Campbell garnered just 2 looks. Ehlinger shouldn't be in your fantasy football plans for a Week 9 visit to New England.

Colts WR Parris Campbell led the team with 12 targets, 10 receptions and 70 receiving yards in Sunday's loss to the Titans, adding Indy's only offensive TD. It marked his 2nd straight game of double-digit targets, though high volume for QB Matt Ryan has certainly helped. Campbell garnered 27.3% of Ryan's pass attempts Sunday and 22.5% over the past 2 games combined. He'll be worth a look in WR3 territory for the Week 8 home date with Washington. Michael Pittman checked in 2nd among Colts WRs against Tennessee, with a 6-58 receiving line on 9 targets. Rookie Alec Pierce collected just 3 catches for 37 yards on 4 targets. The team's TEs combined for just 2 catches and 10 yards on 3 targets.

Colts QB Matt Ryan threw for a season-high 356 yards and 2 TDs in Sunday's loss to the Titans. He spread the ball around. TE Mo Alie-Cox, WR Alec Pierce and WR Michael Pittman tied for the target lead with 6 apiece. Alie-Cox caught all of his for 85 yards and both TDs. Pierce caught 4 balls for 80 yards. Pittman was limited to 3 catches for 31 yards. TE Kyle Granson and WR Parris Campbell also hauled in 4 receptions apiece. Challenging matchups with Denver and Jacksonville lie ahead the next 2 weeks.

Colts QB Matt Ryan followed a shaky 1st outing with an even worse Week 2. He took 5 sacks and tossed 3 INTs in Sunday's 24-0 defeat at the hands of Jacksonville. Ryan completed just 16 of his 30 passes for only 195 yards. He was missing lead WR Michael Pittman and WR Alec Pierce against Jacksonville, which didn't help. WR Ashton Dulin led the team in targets (7), receptions (5) and receiving yards (79). Dezmon Patmon (6) and Nyheim Hines (5) were the only others to see more than 3 targets. Parris Campbell, meanwhile, drew just 2 looks and finished without a catch. He also doesn't need to remain on fantasy football rosters.

The Colts have downgraded WR Michael Pittman (quad) to out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. With Alec Pierce already out, Parris Campbell, Ashton Dulin and Mike Strachan suddenly look like the top 3 wideouts for Sunday's upside matchup with the Jaguars. The WR situation hurts QB Matt Ryan's fantasy upside but helps the target upside for Colts RBs and TEs. We still wouldn't have an Indy TE in play for most fantasy formats. But Nyheim Hines gets more interesting.

Colts WR Michael Pittman drew 13 targets in Sunday's tie with Houston, 6 more than his nearest teammate. Matt Ryan's 50 pass attempts helped enhance that number, but the 26% target share marked a nice start for Indy's clear lead wideout. He proved efficient, too, racking up a 9-121-1 receiving line. RB Jonathan Taylor and TE Kyle Granson tied for 2nd on the team with 7 targets apiece. RB Nyheim Hines and WR Ashton Dulin followed at 6 apiece. No one else drew more than 4. That made Week 1 disappointing for WRs Parris Campbell and Alec Pierce, who drew targets on just 7.7% and 6.3% of routes, respectively, according to Pro Football Focus. (For context: Pittman finished at 27.1%, Dulin at 46.2%.) Campbell and/or Pierce will need things to change before making sense for fantasy football lineups.

The Athletic's James Boyd expects Alec Pierce to emerge as the Colts' 2nd most targeted WR. Boyd believes Pierce's combination of size and speed will make him a more valuable weapon for QB Matt Ryan than WR Parris Campbell, especially in the red zone. We ultimately like targeting both these guys near the end of fantasy drafts.

Colts HC Frank Reich wants a more balanced offense this season after ranking 28th in pass rate last year. "You don’t see teams that have this ground-and-pound run game win championships,” Reich said. “You just don’t. I’m sure it’s happened with one or two teams, but our best formula is to be balanced." Reich also conceded that it will mean fewer touches for RB Jonathan Taylor. "I’m not saying he won’t lead the league in touches, because you never know how things are going to play out. But I almost don’t want him to," he said of Taylor. “The goal is not to lead the league in rushing. The goal is not to make him the MVP of the league. The goal is to win championships." Taylor easily led the league with 332 carries last year -- 25 more than anyone else. So he can afford to lose some and still be a fantasy stud. More passing, of course, would be good news for QB Matt Ryan, WR Michael Pittman and the rest of the Colts' pass catchers.

Colts QB Matt Ryan threw to WR Parris Campbell multiple times this offseason, and the duo is off to a strong start in training camp. "When I'm lined up in the slot running those crossers, that's Matt's bread and butter," Campbell said. "I think that's my bread and butter, too." Campbell, of course, has been limited to just 15 games by multiple injuries through 3 NFL seasons. But he's still just 25 and is running as Indianapolis' #2 WR at the start of camp. "This is his year for him to show out. We're ready for that," OC Marcus Brady said. "He's been looking great — he had a great offseason, he's had a great few days here. I thought he made some nice catches, run some great routes, you can feel his speed out on the field." Campbell is an intriguing late-round flier in fantasy drafts.

Colts QB Matt Ryan impressed coaches, teammates and the media with his play and leadership this offseason. “Matt was unbelievable,” HC Frank Reich said. “Really, A-Z, he did everything right. Just great leadership, great play. I mean, the whole way he took command … I knew he was good, but his accuracy is insane." OC Marcus Brady said Ryan is "damn near a coach on the field." And rookie WR Alec Pierce said, "He could basically run this offense and this team by himself." We'd expect the 14-year veteran to impress in the intangibles department. But, by all accounts, Ryan's arm strength and accuracy were excellent over the past few months. He's still not an exciting fantasy asset in a run-first offense and without rushing upside. But Ryan's arrival could be a boost for the Colts' skill-position players.
