George Kittle Trending Toward Playing Week 1?

"There's a high level of confidence" that 49ers TE George Kittle will be able to play Week 1, according to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz. Kittle is still only about seven months removed from tearing his right Achilles, but his rehab has seemingly been ahead of schedule for a while now.

Jordan Mason's Camp Surge Has Vikings RB1 Battle Tilting

There’s plenty of reason to believe Mason will emerge as the Vikings’ RB1 in his second season with the team. Alec Lewis of The Athletic highlighted him as a training-camp standout: “If you are searching for standouts at training camp, look for Mason. The 27-year-old returned this summer in exceptional shape, and his explosiveness shows up in team drills.”

        J.K. Dobbins Has Soft-Tissue Injury

Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins left Monday's practice with what HC Sean Payton called a soft-tissue injury. Payton didn't offer any more details and didn't sound overly concerned, but this certainly bears monitoring with Dobbins' lengthy injury history.

Denzel Boston Working His Way Up The Depth Chart

Browns WR Denzel Boston will start working with the first-team offense this week, HC Todd Monken said. Boston has had a strong start to camp by all accounts and is a good bet to open the season as one of Cleveland's top three WRs.

Isiah Pacheco Out With MCL Sprain, Expected Back By Week 1

Lions RB Isiah Pacheco will miss time with an MCL sprain but is expected back for the start of the season, HC Dan Campbell said Monday. Pacheco is the favorite for the No. 2 RB job behind Jahmyr Gibbs, but this isn't a great look for a guy with an extensive injury history.

Hunter Henry Gets $16 Million From New England, But He's Still An Unexciting TE2

Patriots TE Hunter Henry agreed to a two-year extension worth $16 million with $14.5 million guaranteed and a $4.2 million signing bonus. Henry is entering his age-32 season, so this move likely means Henry stays with the Patriots for the rest of his career. This move locks Henry into the starting role for the foreseeable future despite rookie TE Eli Raridon drawing buzz throughout training camp.

Luther Burden to Miss Entire Preseason with Groin Injury, Still Expected Back for Week 1

Bears WR Luther Burden’s groin injury timeline stretched today, with the WR now expected to miss the entire preseason, about a month, after initial estimates suggested only “a little bit of time.” The good news is that ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Bears still expect him back for the regular season.

Malik Nabers "Trending" Toward Playing Week 1?

ESPN's Jordan Raanan believes WR Malik Nabers is "trending towards being ready Week 1 for the Dallas Cowboys." Nabers has participated in 9 of 10 training camp practices so far, per Raanan, and "looked better as the summer progressed." Nabers is expected to join 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 work within the next couple of weeks.

Eli Raridon's Camp Buzz Is Finally Here, Making Him a Stronger 2026 TE Stash

After a relatively quiet start to training camp, Eli Raridon is beginning to look the part. Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reported, “The third-round rookie had more receptions from [Drake] Maye than he has in any other practice to date, including during his two-minute drill.” Callahan later added, “He was open and available over the middle, downfield, and on checkdowns.”

Commanders Set to Miss Laremy Tunsil for a Disturbing Amount of Time

Commanders LT Laremy Tunsil tore his left triceps in Saturday's practice and will likely require surgery, NFL Network reports. That'll leave Washington without a key blocker, and it's not yet clear how long they'll miss him. The NFL Network report says only that Tunsil will miss "at least a significant portion of the regular season."

Luther Burden To Miss "A Little Bit Of Time" With Groin Injury

Bears WR Luther Burden is expected to miss "a little bit of time" with a groin injury suffered in Saturday's practice, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It's relatively good news, although Burden's health will be worth monitoring closely the rest of the summer. He missed time last August with a calf injury, which might have contributed to the slow start to his rookie season. We're not moving Burden in the WR rankings for now but will let you know if that changes.

Good News for Dalton Kincaid: No Missed Practices So Far

Most camp health updates focus on injuries that a player is dealing with or returning from. For Bills TE Dalton Kincaid, though, it's worth noting that he has yet to miss a workout. That's because Kincaid spent portions of each of the past two years managing a PCL tear. Last year proved especially rough as Kincaid played just 37.6% of Buffalo's offensive snaps across his 12 games and ranked just 48th among TEs in total routes run. Kincaid still elected to pass on surgery for the PCL this offseason.
