49ers WR Marquise Goodwin (hamstring, quad) put in a full practice on Thursday. That puts him on track to play against the Packers on Monday night. Goodwin will be a boom/bust WR3 with San Francisco likely playing from behind in that one.
Eagles WR Marquise Goodwin has opted out of the 2020 season. Philly acquired him from San Francisco for a swap of 6th-round picks back in April -- but Goodwin was unlikely to play more than a situational deep-threat role. There's little fantasy impact here.
The 49ers have traded WR Marquise Goodwin to the Eagles. Goodwin has had trouble staying on the field throughout his NFL career and played in just 20 games over the past 2 seasons. He's a big-play threat when healthy, averaging 16.6 yards per catch for his career. Goodwin figures to be a rotational player at best in Philadelphia, which would leave him short of fantasy value. But he could be a slight boost for QB Carson Wentz.
49ers WR Marquise Goodwin exited in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the Redskins to get checked for a concussion. We'll update his status when we learn more. Goodwin has 6 documented concussions already.
Update: Goodwin returned to the game.
49ers WR Marquise Goodwin (calf) is out for Sunday’s finale against the Rams. With WR Dante Pettis (knee) also out, San Francisco is down to Kendrick Bourne, Trent Taylor and Richie James. Bourne is the best fantasy bet but not more than a WR4. Look for TE George Kittle to lead the ‘Niners in targets.
49ers WR Marquise Goodwin returned to the team on Monday and is expected to play against the Broncos this weekend, according to insider Matt Maiocco. Goodwin missed the past 2 games to deal with a family matter. He'll be a boom-or-bust WR4 for Week 14.
