Eagles RB Miles Sanders left in the 3rd quarter of Monday night's game against the Giants after hurting his right leg. He reportedly got checked out on the sideline before heading to the locker room. We'll keep an eye on his status. RB Boston Scott took over the backfield for the team's 3rd-quarter scoring drive, including the rushing TD to close it out.
Update: Sanders returned in the 4th quarter after getting treated for cramping.
Eagles RBs coach Duce Staley believes Miles Sanders is ready to handle "the full load" this season. "I think you put him in and you let him go," Staley added. Sanders averaged 15.4 carries and 4 catches over his final 7 healthy games last year, scoring as a top 8 PPR RB during that stretch. He should be looking at a similar workload in 2020 -- especially considering the Eagles haven't added any significant competition. Sanders is worth considering in the back half of the 1st round of fantasy drafts.
Eagles RB Miles Sanders suffered a left knee injury in the Wild Card loss to the Seahawks. He was in a brace and on crutches on Monday but told reporters that he doesn't need surgery. We'll keep an eye on this, but it doesn't sound like something that'll impact his offseason. Sanders figures to fly off the board early in 2020 fantasy drafts after totaling 716 yards and 4 TDs over his final 7 games.
Eagles RB Miles Sanders (ankle) put in a full practice on Friday and isn't listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game against the Seahawks. He seems to be in better shape health-wise than we initially thought. Sanders now looks like a more interesting play for both your playoff-long fantasy leagues and the Wild Card DFS slate.
The "plan" is for Eagles RB Miles Sanders (ankle) to play against the Seahawks on Sunday, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Sanders missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday but is expected to get on the field tomorrow. "The issue has been inflammation. He is improving," Fowler adds. Check back tomorrow for another update on the rookie.
Eagles RB Miles Sanders (ankle) didn't practice on Wednesday. The Philadelphia media seems generally optimistic about Sanders' availability for this weekend's game against the Seahawks, but we'd still consider him truly questionable at this point. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.
