Cash-game pick: Gardner Minshew, Eagles ($6,100) at Dallas

Windy weather will affect several games around the country. Of course, that won’t be the case for Minshew, who’ll play indoors. And I think that closes the gap on him vs. QBs who’d typically be better plays.

At bottom, he’s usable because of his cheap price and some — some — rushing upside.

Tournament pick: Geno Smith, Seahawks ($7,600) at Kansas City

Ownership Projection: 6%

The Seahawks are installed as 10-point road underdogs, and it’s easy to see Smith’s volume getting a boost. Opponents have fired off the 5th most passes against K.C.

Sure, Tyler Lockett is out, but that only strengthens the case for D.K. Metcalf as a stacking option.
