Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) is active for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. We’re expecting him to play his usual full-time role and have Higgins inside the top-15 of the Week 16 WR rankings.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport calls Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) "likely" to play vs. the Dolphins today. Higgins got in a full practice on Friday and has cleared protocol. Per Rapoport, Higgins visited concussion expert Dr. Micky Collins in Pittsburgh to "offer additional reassurance that Higgins was cleared to play." If active, Higgins should play his usual role and would be an upside WR2 in fantasy lineups.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Dolphins. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so he’s seemingly trending toward being cleared for this one. We’ll keep you updated on Higgins’ progress and get Cincinnati’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. He’ll be a virtual must-start if he plays.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He still has work to do to clear protocol in time for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins. We'll keep you updated on Higgins' progress over the next few days.
Bengals QB Joe Burrow had one of the worst games of his career going 25/39 for 225 yards and 2 INTs with the Bengals scoring no points. This was the first time the Bengals have been shut out in a Burrow start. Despite the woeful offense, his weapons did come through in PPR with WR Ja’Marr Chase going 10-132-0 on 16 targets. RB Chase Brown went 13-53-0 on the ground but 7-37-0 through the air catching all of his targets.
Bengals RB Samaje Perine hurt his right leg in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Ravens. He was in obvious pain and could put no weight on the leg. We'll update Perine's status when we know more. His absence turns RB Chase Brown back into a workhorse.
Update: Perine returned on Cincinnati's next possession.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Ravens. He got in limited practices this week, which at least has us optimistic for a Week 16 return. Higgins’ absence creates opportunity for WRs Andrei Iosivas and Mitchell Tinsley and TE Mike Gesicki – but those guys are still very fringey plays in season-long leagues.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) remained limited in Thursday's practice. He still has multiple stages of the protocol to pass through to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Ravens. We're still not expecting Higgins to play in that one, but we'll update his status again tomorrow.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) will get in a limited practice on Wednesday, HC Zac Taylor said. It's surprising after Higgins entered the protocol for the second time in the last three weeks. We still wouldn't be counting on him to play vs. the Ravens on Sunday, but it's at least now a possibility. We'll update Higgins' status again tomorrow.
Bengals Edge Trey Hendrickson will have core-muscle surgery, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The procedure is expected to keep him out of action for six weeks, which would obviously cost him the rest of this season.
Bengals HC Zac Taylor said Monday that WR Tee Higgins is back in the concussion protocol. Higgins played Sunday after a one-game absence, then reported concussion symptoms after the loss to the Bills. We'll track his progress this week, but fantasy owners should have a backup plan in place. The Bengals return home to face Baltimore on Sunday.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins went off for 6 catches, 92 yards, and 2 TDs in Sunday’s close loss at Buffalo. Higgins was returning from a one-game absence (concussion).
Bengals WR Tee Higgins has cleared the concussion protocol and will play Sunday at Buffalo. Higgins missed Week 13 vs. Baltimore. The veteran slots in as a top-15 option in our Week 14 WR rankings, boosted by Joe Burrow's encouraging return vs. the Ravens.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. He's on track to be cleared for this weekend's showdown vs. the Bills. Higgins sits in high WR2 territory in the Week 14 rankings.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He's made progress through the protocol but still has work to do to get cleared for this weekend's game vs. the Bills. We're tentatively projecting Higgins to play in that one but will keep you updated on his status over the next few days.
Bengals QB Joe Burrow returned from his turf toe injury in his first action since Week 2. The first half showed some rust with Burrow missing a few TD passes and the Bengals settling for 4 FGs. But he bounced back for a strong second half. Burrow’s final stat line was 24/46 with 261 yards and 2 TDs.
Bengals QB Joe Burrow (toe) put in a full week of practice and was officially activated from IR on Wednesday afternoon. He'll start Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens. It'll be his first action since Week 2, and he won't have WR Tee Higgins. That has Burrow sitting lower than usual in the Week 13 QB rankings. But there's upside well beyond that ranking. Burrow smoked this Baltimore defense for 392-5-1 and 428-4-0 passing lines last year (with that second game coming without Higgins).
Bengals RB Samaje Perine (ankle) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice. That puts him on track to return for Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens. Perine had worked his way into about one-third of the backfield work before going down with a high-ankle sprain in Week 9. RB Chase Brown has been excellent without Perine the last two weeks, though, totaling 206 yards on 5.6 yards per carry and catching eight of 12 targets. We're expecting Perine to steal some work from Brown going forward -- but not as much as he was before the ankle injury. Brown remains a strong Week 13 fantasy start.
Bengals HC Zac Taylor said Monday that Edge Trey Hendrickson will miss Thursday's game against the Ravens. It'll be his fourth straight game lost to a hip injury. Even the game before that found Hendrickson trying to play through the issue but leaving early. Cincinnati has managed just four total sacks without Hendrickson over the past three contests and finished five of the past six games with one sack or fewer.
Bengals HC Zac Taylor stopped short of guaranteeing that QB Joe Burrow (toe) will play vs. the Ravens on Thursday night, but he said he "anticipates" him getting the start. Burrow, meanwhile, posted "He's back" on his social media on Monday. All signs point to him making his return for this game against a division rival that he smoked for 392-5-1 and 428-4-0 passing lines last year. Burrow will be a risk/reward Week 13 fantasy start in his first action in more than two months -- and without WR Tee Higgins.
