Fantasy Football News

The Dolphins claimed RB Kaytron Allen off waivers. It's about the best landing spot for Allen in terms of a path to playing time this season. But it's tough to be optimistic after he averaged 3.4 yards per carry across 12 attempts for the Commanders and then was waived after just 4 weeks. Allen is fine to keep stashed on dynasty benches, but we wouldn't bother with him in redraft right now.

Bills WR D.J. Moore (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Rams. He returned to a limited practice on Saturday after sitting out the previous two days. Moore aggravated his Week 2 shoulder injury in last Sunday's loss to the Patriots, playing just 23 snaps. He seemingly has a chance to play on Monday, but that late kickoff leaves fantasy owners in a tough spot. WR Josh Palmer has been ruled out after hurting his shoulder in practice this week, eliminating a potential emergency option for owners hoping to start Moore. Rookie WR Skyler Bell will make his debut vs. the Rams, HC Joe Brady said Saturday, joining Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Greg Dortch as Buffalo's healthy WRs. We'll see if we get an update on Moore tomorrow morning.

The Vikings are elevating WR Odell Beckham from the practice squad, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Beckham just signed with Minnesota earlier this week. He's not in play for Week 5 fantasy lineups, but the move might suggest some concern over WR Justin Jefferson and/or WR Jordan Addison's availability for tomorrow's game vs. the Saints. Both guys are listed as questionable. We'll look for updates on get Minnesota's inactives around 11:30 am ET tomorrow.

Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. will be INACTIVE this Sunday against the Lions as the team has been actively negotiating a trade with him. It appears a deal is imminent (likely occurring between Sunday-Tuesday this week). But the team continues to take offers it appears and may be in negotiations with multiple teams. ESPN’s Adam Schefter notes that the Houston Texans are in the mix which would pair Harrison back with his college QB C.J. Stroud, but that is not announced or finalized at this point.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (ankle) "plans to play" vs. the Saints this weekend, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Jefferson got in three limited practices this week and is listed as questionable. Fowler adds that the team will see how Jefferson feels on Saturday and that he might be a game-time decision. We'll continue to keep you posted on Jefferson's status for this one.

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) is "most likely a game-time decision" for Sunday's meeting with the Giants, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. McLaurin looked good in Friday's limited practice, Fowler adds. We'll look for further updates on McLaurin between now and kickoff. He'll be a risk/reward fantasy play if he suits up just a little over a week after suffering that hamstring injury.

Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Broncos. He didn’t practice all week, though, so he’s seemingly on the wrong side of that questionable tag. WR Quentin Johnston (chest) has been ruled out, and so has WR Brenen Thompson (quad). That leaves Tre Harris, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Derius Davis as the only healthy WRs on the active roster. WRs Theo Wease and Gary Jennings are on the practice squad.

Seahawks RB George Holani (ribs, knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers. He shouldn’t be in fantasy lineups, but his absence would be a boost for RB Emanuel Wilson. RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) is out, leaving undrafted rookie Robert Henry as the only other healthy RB on the active roster.

Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Titans. He was designated to return from IR this week, getting in limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday. But he’s still not ready for game action as he works back from his December 2024 multi-ligament knee injury. We’ll continue to keep tabs on Dell’s progress, but he’s not worth a roster spot in redraft leagues right now.

Rams TE Colby Parkinson (knee, shoulder) was a full participant in Friday’s practice, putting him on track to play vs. the Bills on Monday night. Parkinson isn’t a viable Week 5 fantasy starter, but his return adds risk to TE Tyler Higbee’s profile.

Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 5 injury report. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday. Despite some troubling comments after last week’s game, it looks like Love is at least close to 100% for Sunday’s meeting with the Lions.

Dolphins RB Jaylen Wright (foot) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bengals. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and limited again on Friday. Wright notably missed time with a foot injury earlier this season. He shouldn’t be in Week 5 fantasy lineups, but his absence would make RB Ollie Gordon easier to trust.

Dolphins WR Caleb Douglas (ankle) is out for this weekend’s game vs. the Bengals. Malik Washington and Chris Bell will continue to serve as Miami’s top 2 WRs.

Bengals WRs Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) and Tee Higgins (groin, neck) are listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Dolphins. Both guys were full participants in Friday’s practice, though. Chase still needs clearance from his concussion but seems on track to get it before Sunday. Higgins also seemingly has a real chance to play. We’ll keep you posted on both guys and get Cincinnati’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Commanders RB Rachaad White (shoulder) was limited in practice all week but is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Giants. It’s unclear exactly how he’ll fit back into a backfield that added Austin Ekeler and got rid of Kaytron Allen since we last saw White. He’d be a desperation Week 5 fantasy start.

Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) put in a full week of practice and is off the final injury report. He’ll start Sunday’s game vs. the Giants, just three weeks after dislocating his left elbow. While it shouldn’t impact the righty’s passing, Daniels’ rushing figures to be limited, and he’ll be at risk of re-injury. He lasted just 39 snaps when he tried to return from this same injury last year. Consider him a risk/reward fantasy start this week.

Commanders WR Stefon Diggs (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Giants. WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) is listed as questionable after returning to a limited practice on Friday. McLaurin hurt that hamstring in last Friday’s practice, so it’d be a quick turnaround to play this weekend. We’ll look for further updates on his status. Regardless, rookie WR Antonio Williams should be in for a significant role this week.

Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) is not listed on the final Week 5 injury report. He sat out Wednesday with knee soreness but returned to a limited practice on Thursday and was a full-go on Friday. It looks like Nabers will be ready for his typical role vs. the Commanders this weekend.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (foot) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Falcons. It’s a new injury for Flowers, who dealt with hamstring trouble earlier this season. We haven’t heard anything to suggest that he’s in danger of missing this game, but hopefully we get an update on Flowers’ status on Sunday morning.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, and is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars. Goedert carries some risk in his first action since Week 2, but there’s also plenty of target upside here with RB Saquon Barkley and WR DeVonta Smith out.
