After dealing with a soft tissue injury during training camp, Broncos head coach Sean Payton says that J.K. Dobbins is moving well and ready to go for the season, per Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette. Dobbins appears to be a full-go as the team opens their season next Monday night against the Chiefs.

49ers WR Mike Evans returned to practice on Wednesday. The 33-year-old missed much of August with quad and groin injuries but is seemingly on track for next Thursday's opener vs. the Rams in Australia. Evans is one of the bigger injury risks in fantasy football but has turned into a value at his recent WR30 ADP.

QB Aaron Rodgers has been adamant that DK Metcalf needs to play a major offensive role. “We gotta get the ball to DK," Rodgers said Wednesday, according to Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. He’s our No. 1 for a reason."

Bills WR Khalil Shakir has recently missed practice time with an undisclosed injury, though the issue hasn’t been widely reported, per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports. The Bills are reportedly being cautious and are optimistic he’ll be available for the season opener against the Texans.

Lions GM Brad Holmes declined to give a timetable for RB Isiah Pacheco's return from his back injury. Holmes said only that he's "hopeful" Pacheco will return this season, according to ESPN's Eric Woodyard. "He's steadily feeling better and he's doing everything that he can to get back," Holmes added.

Jaguars WR Jakobi Meyers got in a limited practice on Wednesday, HC Liam Coen said. It's the first we've heard of Meyers working since he suffered a right thumb or hand injury on August 19.

Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks has worked off to the side of practice with trainers the past two days. HC Dave Canales said Brooks is dealing with "soreness" but wouldn't specify where, per ESPN's Mike Kaye.

Raiders HC Klint Kubiak confirmed that QB Kirk Cousins will start the opener vs. the Dolphins. Vegas has maintained since drafting QB Fernando Mendoza No. 1 overall that they wanted the rookie to open the season on the bench.

ESPN's Dan Graziano believes Rams RB Blake Corum is in line for more work this season. Corum's workload grew over the second half of last year, though he still trailed Kyren Williams in a 60/40 split. Graziano believes that gap could narrow to 50/50 in 2026.

49ers TE George Kittle is making the trip to Australia for next Thursday's opener vs. the Rams, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Kittle is trending in the right direction to play," Rapoport adds.

Rams WR Puka Nacua might be facing a new complication to his off-field issues via a social-media video posted by an ex-girlfriend. Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt was on the practice field Tuesday, according to insider Ben Standig. JCM missed some time with a groin injury but is now on track to be ready for Week 1. Ravens WR Zay Flowers is expected to be "good to go" for Week 1 vs. the Colts, according to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz. Flowers has been sidelined for a little over a week with a lower-body injury but is expected to be a full-go at practice next week. Flowers hasn't moved in our WR rankings and remains a target in the back half of Round 3 or anywhere in Round 4 of fantasy drafts.

It was a tough summer for Jets WR Omar Cooper. He was largely quiet in camp and preseason action and even fell behind WR Isaiah Williams on the depth chart at one point. But The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt writes that Cooper "came on strong at the end of camp."

Jets TE Kenyon Sadiq practiced on Monday, according to The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt. Sadiq missed most of the offseason after hernia surgery plus a setback in his recovery. But the Jets have said all along that he'd be ready for Week 1, and he appears to be on track.

Lions RB Isiah Pacheco was placed on IR and will be out at least four games. Pacheco signed a one-year $1.81 million contract this offseason as the likely backup to Jahmyr Gibbs. He’s been dealing with a back issue during training camp that ultimately landed him on IR.

Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty was working off to the side with trainers at Tuesday's practice, according to The Athletic's Sam Warren. It's the first time Jeanty has been seen on the field since his ankle injury nine days ago.

Chuba Hubbard returned to practice after suffering a hamstring injury on August 12, per Mike Kaye of ESPN. Hubbard told reporters on August 24 that he feels good and felt the trainers were simply being cautious with him. Now, he’s officially back on the field.

Following the right ankle injury TreVeyon Henderson suffered after slipping in last week's practice, he still hasn't been cleared to return to full participation, per Mike Reiss of ESPN. Reiss mentioned that Henderson was present in the locker room today and walking normally.
