Falcons WR Julio Jones reported for this week's mandatory minicamp but won't participate in practice because of a foot injury he's rehabbing. "It was part of maintenance ... and also some rehab, too," HC Dan Quinn said, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "They won't participate in the camp this time, but I'm anticipating them both being ready for the training camp." MLB Deion Jones was the other player Quinn was referring, too. Jones, of course, lost 10 games last season to a foot injury. We don't see any reason right now to worry about Julio Jones, who often sits out offseason workouts for similar reasons.
Falcons WR Julio Jones (shoulder) practiced all week and will return for Sunday’s game against the Panthers. He posted a 6-91 line on 8 targets vs. the division rival back in Week 11.
Falcons HC Dan Quinn said Wednesday morning that WR Julio Jones (shoulder) is "planning" on returning for this weekend's game against the Panthers. We'll keep an eye on his practice participation over the next few days, but Jones can be penciled into Week 14 fantasy lineups for now.
Falcons HC Dan Quinn said Monday that WR Julio Jones (shoulder) is "trending upward" for this weekend's game against the Panthers. Jones seemed reasonably close to playing on Thanksgiving night and will have had another 10 days to heal up for Carolina. We'll keep a close eye on him this week.
Falcons WR Julio Jones (shoulder) is inactive for tonight's game against the Saints. That leaves Calvin Ridley, Russell Gage, Christian Blake and Justin Hardy as Atlanta's top 4 WRs. Ridley is a WR2 with upside; Gage a volume-based WR3. Downgrade QB Matt Ryan.
FOX's Jay Glazer reports that Falcons WR Julio Jones (shoulder) remains a true game-time decision for tonight's clash with the Saints. He'll test it out in warm-ups, and we'll update Jones' status when inactives come out tonight.
