De'Von Achane's Knee Injury Sounds Serious

Dolphins HC Jeff Hafley said after Sunday's loss to the Chiefs that RB De'Von Achane's knee injury looks serious. "To be honest with you, it does not sound optimistic," Hafley added. We should get an official diagnosis on Achane within the next 24 hours, but expect a lengthy absence, potentially the rest of the season. Achane's absence left Ollie Gordon as Miami's lead back. He carried 17 times for 41 yards and a score, adding 14 more yards on 3 catches. RB Jaylen Wright was inactive with stinger and foot injuries. His status going forward is uncertain. Miami has RBs Jarquez Hunter and Carlos Washington on the practice squad. Gordon is the add here but won't be more than a volume-based RB3 in an offense that will continue to struggle.

Commanders Could be in Trouble at LB

Commanders LB Leo Chenal left the field on a stretcher in the second quarter Sunday with a neck injury. Fortunately, he was moving his arms and legs in the wake of the injury. We'll see about the status for both guys heading into Week 4.
