Is Eli Raridon Pushing Hunter Henry?

We passed along some hype on Patriots TE Eli Raridon earlier this week. Now The Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan is suggesting that Raridon might be pushing TE Hunter Henry for work. Per Callahan, Raridon got more first-team snaps than Henry in three straight practices, culminating with Tuesday's joint practice with the Colts.

What if Michael Wilson is the WR1?

Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. endured an iffy first two NFL seasons, relative to his entry as the No. 4 overall pick in 2024. But he has maintained a target lead over Michael Wilson. The eight games last season in which Harrison played at least 70% of the snaps found him drawing 21.9% of targets vs. just 12.0% for Wilson. Of course, Harrison's second-half injury issues gave way to Wilson's fantasy explosion. Then came a coaching change, and it's fair to wonder whether HC Mike LaFleur's scheme will alter the target distribution.

Emeka Egbuka Limps Off at Buccaneers Camp, Doesn’t Appear Serious

Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka took an end around at training camp and got rolled up on by a teammate. He limped off the field under his own power and was examined on the training table. The injury severity is currently unknown, but he remained walking on the sideline with both cleats off. He will not return to practice today.

Alec Pierce Did NOT Get Extra Treatment, But Surgery Went Beyond Ankle

This whole Alec Pierce situation is getting annoying. Colts GM Chris Ballard addressed reporters late Wednesday and said previous reports about the WR getting a second platelet-rich plasma injection on his recovering ankle were innacurate. According to ESPN's Stephen Holder, Ballard said the January PRP injection -- before the surgery -- has been the only such treatment for Pierce.

Omar Cooper Losing Ground In Jets Camp

Jets WR Omar Cooper has had a quiet start to training camp by most accounts. ESPN's Rich Cimini even suggested on Tuesday that WR Isaiah Williams could pass Cooper on the depth chart. WR coach Shawn Jefferson said Cooper has experienced "little pitfalls ... That's part of being a rookie."

Puka Nacua's Injury Doesn't Sound Serious

Rams WR Puka Nacua was forced from Tuesday's practice with "minor soreness" in his groin, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "The team is just being cautious," Rapoport adds. It doesn't sound like this is anything to worry about in terms of Nacua's readiness for the start of the season, but we'll let you know if that changes. We're also keeping an eye on a potential suspension for Nacua.

        Puka Nacua Leaves Tuesday's Practice

Rams WR Puka Nacua left Tuesday's joint practice with the Cowboys with training staff, according to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry. HC Sean McVay had no update afterward. It's been a tough day for Nacua's fantasy stock between this issue and ESPN's Adam Schefter report that he's still at risk of being suspended. We'll update Nacua's status when we learn more.

Jaguars Camp Points to Committee, Not a Tuten or Rodriguez Takeover

Amid all the buzz around Bhayshul Tuten or Chris Rodriguez Jr leading the backfield, Sports Illustrated's John Shipley offered a different perspective from Jaguars training camp. “Tuten and Rodriguez are getting near-equal reps, while Allen has been the Jaguars’ top option on all passing downs in camp. That sounds more like a room that is about to spread the wealth than a room that is set to lean on just one face.”

Suspension Risk Still Hanging Over Puka Nacua

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Rams WR Puka Nacua is still under league review for his off-field actions over the past 12 months. Nacua was accused of biting two women in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve and made an antisemitic gesture on a livestream in December.

Maybe It's Time to Start Buying Bucky Irving

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving endured a rough second season in 2025, losing seven games to a shoulder injury that eventually required offseason surgery. And when he did take the field, Irving saw his rushing efficiency and goal-line opportunities fall off. He slid from 5.4 yards per carry in 2024 to just 3.4 last season, while his rushing-success rate fell from 55.1% (sixth among qualifying RBs) to 41.6% (46th among 48 qualifiers). Tampa also gave Irving no carries inside the 5-yard line, splitting nine such opportunities between Sean Tucker (seven) and Rachaad White (two) in the 10 games Irving played. But there's reason for optimism in Year 3.
