Jonah Coleman To IR With High-Ankle Sprain

The Broncos placed RB Jonah Coleman on IR, knocking him out for the next 4 games. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Coleman suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Week 2 win over the Jaguars but is expected back when first eligible in Week 7. This injury frustratingly went unreported after last Sunday's game, and the severity went unreported until now. Coleman is worth keeping stashed on fantasy rosters if possible, but he won't have a chance to be a factor until the second half of the season. RBs J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey are safer short-term fantasy bets with Coleman out.

Caleb Williams Out, Tyson Bagent Questionable For Week 3

Bears QB Caleb Williams (hamstring) is out for Monday night's game vs. the Eagles. He didn't practice all week and should be considered iffy at best for Week 4. QB Tyson Bagent (concussion) is listed as questionable after a full practice on Saturday. If he avoids a setback between now and kickoff, he should get the start. Otherwise it'll be QB Case Keenum at the controls. Either way, it's tough to feel good about any Bears pass catchers in fantasy lineups against a stout Eagles secondary.

Dallas Goedert Out For Week 3

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) has been ruled out for Monday night's game vs. the Bears. He's expected to miss "a few weeks" with an MCL sprain but has not been placed on short-term IR. With TE Eli Stowers already on IR and out for at least 2 more games, Philadelphia is down to TEs Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins on the active roster. We'll see if TE Zach Ertz is elevated from the practice squad after signing earlier this week. But expect the Eagles' WRs to garner a bigger share of the targets while Goedert is out.

DeVonta Smith Will Play Week 3

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. He progressed from no practice on Thursday to limited on Friday to full participation on Saturday. Smith should be ready to dominate targets vs. the Bears on Monday night and is an elite fantasy play.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (stinger) is off the final injury report for Monday night's game vs. the Bears. He practiced all week, including full workouts on Friday and Saturday, and should be ready for his usual workload in this plus matchup. Barkley remains a must-start.

Tyson Bagent On Track To Start Week 3

Bears QB Tyson Bagent has been cleared to practice Saturday, HC Ben Johnson said. It's a surprise after Bagent didn't practice at all yesterday. QB Caleb Williams (hamstring) remains sidelined on Saturday, putting Bagent on track to start Monday night's game vs. the Eagles, barring a setback. Consider that a slight upgrade from QB Case Keenum, but it's still a brutal spot for the backup QB vs. a tough Philly defense.

Zay Flowers A Game-Time Decision, Limited If He Plays

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Ravens WR Zay Flowers (hamstring) will work out pre-game before a decision is made on his status for Sunday's tilt with the Cowboys. Fowler adds that Flowers "will likely be on a pitch count" if he does play. That would leave fantasy managers in a tough spot. We'd rather see Flowers sit out one more game, especially with shoddy field conditions in Brazil. But we'll keep you updated on Baltimore's plans.

Buccaneers to Miss Both Early-Round Rookie Defenders

The Bucs have ruled out Edge Rueben Bain Jr. (groin) and LB Josiah Trotter (shoulder) for Sunday's game against the Vikings. That'll damage a defense that struggled even with them involved in a Week 2 loss to the Browns. Bain missed practice all week and was already playing through a shoulder sprain he suffered in August joint practices with the Jaguars. We'll see about his status for Week 4. Trotter returned for a limited Friday after sitting out the first two days. He returned to finish out the Week 2 game after sustaining his injury. SirVocea Dennis looks like the next guy up but shouldn't be in play for most IDP leagues.

Mike Evans Questionable For Week 3

49ers WR Mike Evans (hip) only got in a limited practice on Friday and is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cardinals. HC Kyle Shanahan said after last week’s win that Evans’ injury wasn’t serious, and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Thursday that Evans had a “good chance” to play this weekend. We’re tentatively projecting him to play but will look for further updates on his status. WR Demarcus Robinson (ankle) is out, leaving Deebo Samuel, Jacob Cowing, KhaDarel Hodge, and Jordan Watkins as San Francisco’s healthy WRs.

J.K. Dobbins & R.J. Harvey In, Jonah Coleman Out For Week 3

Both guys were full participants in practice on Thursday and Friday. Aaron Jones Will Play Week 3

Vikings RB Aaron Jones (knee) is not listed on the final injury report. There was some concern about his availability for this one early in the week, but he progressed to a full practice on Friday. Jones should control backfield work again vs. the Buccaneers after carrying 23 times last week, although the knee issues adds some risk.
