Bhayshul Tuten Out Tuesday With Pair Of Injuries

Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten (ankle, foot) has missed the first two practices of the week. We noticed him hobble off early in Sunday's win over the Colts, but he returned and had a huge game. We'll see how Tuten is listed on tomorrow's final injury report. His absence would leave RB Chris Rodriguez in the lead role in a great spot vs. the Joe Fagnano-led Ravens. Jacksonville is currently a 10-point favorite.

Joe Fagnano Healthy Enough To Start Week 9

Ravens QB Joe Fagnano will start Thursday night's game vs. the Jaguars, HC Jesse Minter announced. Fagnano came out of the Bills loss with a right ankle injury and was wearing a brace in Tuesday's practice. But he's evidently healthy enough to get the nod over QBs Austin Reed and Kedon Slovis. Fagnano went undrafted this spring after a seven-year college career that started at Maine and ended at UConn. He completed 61.9% of his passes at 7.6 yards per attempt as a student athlete. Fagnano simply isn't an NFL-caliber passer and figures to sink Baltimore's offense. Zay Flowers is the only Ravens pass catcher in play for Week 9 fantasy lineups, and he lands in WR3 territory in our rankings.

Jeremiyah Love Heading To IR With High-Ankle Sprain

Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love will be placed on IR with a high-ankle sprain suffered in the Week 8 win over the Cowboys, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That knocks Love out for at least the next four games, but Rapoport says the rookie is expected to miss 4-5 weeks. The long end of that timetable would extend through Week 13. Arizona then gets a Week 14 bye. Don't be surprised if Love is held out until Week 15. He's fine to stash in fantasy leagues with deep benches and/or IR spots, but Love is a drop candidate in shallower leagues. RBs Tyler Allgeier and Bam Knight will resume splitting the backfield in the meantime, once Knight is cleared from his concussion.

Jadarian Price Returns From IR to Lead Seahawks Backfield

Jadarian Price returned from IR to lead the Seahawks backfield with 10 carries. He turned it into a team-high 29 rushing yards while adding 8 more yards on 2 receptions to finish with 5.7 PPR points. His fringe RB3 finish against the Bears defense remains a promising sign for the first-round rookie in just his fourth career game.

Luther Burden Burns Seattle for 7-56-1 and Another WR1 Week

Luther Burden matched TE Colston Loveland for the team lead in targets, hauling in seven of nine for 56 yards and a TD. He finished with 18.6 PPR points against a Seahawks defense that had allowed more than 18 PPR points to just two WRs prior. Burden ranks as a WR1 for a consecutive week.

Season-High 27 Carries Fuel Another 3-TD Day for D’Andre Swift

D’Andre Swift handled a season-high 27 rush attempts for 69 yards and 3 TDs, while adding 10 yards on 2 receptions. That added up to 27.9 PPR points and an RB4 finish in Week 8. It’s the second time this season he’s found the endzone three times in a week, giving him his fifth RB1 week.

Jeremy McNichols Out Months With Foot Injury

Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols is expected to miss multiple months with a foot injury suffered in Sunday night's win over the Eagles, according to The Athletic's Tashan Reed. McNichols had been working in a 3-RB committee with Rachaad White and Austin Ekeler the past two weeks, totaling 10 carries and one target. That 3-man committee will now be a 2-man committee, at least for the next two weeks with RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt on IR. Ekeler is still unlikely to be a fantasy asset, but White gets a boost.

Tyler Loop Out Indefinitely, Jake Moody In

Ravens K Tyler Loop is "dealing with a little bit of an injury" and might land on IR, HC Jesse Minter said Monday. We'll look for more details, but Loop can be dropped from all fantasy rosters. Baltimore will turn to K Jake Moody for Thursday night's game vs. the Jaguars, but he's not a viable fantasy play. Baltimore is implied for just 16.25 points.

Ankle Injury Has Joe Fagnano Uncertain For Week 9

Ravens QB Joe Fagnano has an ankle injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, putting his availability for Thursday night's game vs. the Jaguars in question. "He's kinda working through some things," HC Jesse Minter said Monday. "Expect him to have a chance to play on Thursday." With QB Lamar Jackson (thumb) heading to IR and QB Tyler Huntley (toe) expected to miss at least Week 9, Baltimore signed QB Austin Reed to the practice squad. Reed, who went undrafted in 2024, spent about two weeks with the Ravens in August. He completed 56% of his passes at 6.2 yards per attempt for the Dallas Renegades of the UFL earlier this year. The Ravens are down bad.

New Ankle Injury For Jeremiyah Love

Cardinals HC Mike LaFleur said Monday that RB Jeremiyah Love suffered a new right ankle injury in the Week 8 win over the Cowboys. Love suffered a high right ankle sprain in the preseason, hurt his left ankle in Week 2, and then suffered this new right ankle injury vs. Dallas. LaFleur didn't give any more details on the latest injury, but we'd be surprised if Love played against the Seahawks this weekend. It's starting to feel like a lost rookie season. Arizona also lost RB Bam Knight to a concussion yesterday, leaving him no better than 50/50 for Week 9. His absence would likely leave Tyler Allgeier in an every-down role.

Terrance Ferguson Expected Back At Practice This Week

Rams TE Terrance Ferguson (ankle) "has a chance" to practice this week, HC Sean McVay said Monday. He's been sidelined since Week 3. It's unclear if he'll be ready for Sunday's game vs. the Commanders, but Ferguson is nearing a return. The rookie was blanked in the opener but posted a 6-54-1 line in Week 2. He has a chance to emerge as the No. 2 target in the Rams' passing game for however long WR Davante Adams is out and is worth stashing now in fantasy leagues of 12+ teams.

Kendrick Bourne Done For The Season

Cardinals WR Kendrick Bourne broke his tibia in Sunday's win over the Cowboys, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Bourne doesn't need surgery but will be sidelined for 3 months, ending his 2026 campaign. Bourne registered a 61% route rate and 15% target share in three full games without WR Marvin Harrison. He joins Jalen Brooks on IR, leaving Arizona woefully thin at WR. Reggie Virgil, Simi Fehoko, and Devin Duvernay are on the active roster behind Michael Wilson, with Zay Jones and Harrison Wallace on the practice squad. You can ignore those guys on the waiver wire this week. Wilson and TE Trey McBride will continue dominating Cardinals targets.

        Jadarian Price Activated From IR

The Seahawks activated RB Jadarian Price (chest) from IR, putting him on track to play vs. the Bears tonight. The rookie has been out since Week 3. Price averaged 4.3 yards per carry over his first three games but struggled with injuries and ball security. With RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) expected to make his 2026 debut tonight, it's completely unclear what Seattle's backfield will look like in terms of touch split.

Christian Watson Expected To Play Through Broken Rib

Packers WR Christian Watson broke a rib in Thursday night's win over the Panthers, passing game coordinator Jason Vrable said Monday. Watson, of course, heroically returned from the hospital to finish out that game, racking up 8 catches for 113 yards. Two of those grabs came after the injury. Vrable said Watson is sore but “doing great.” We'll keep tabs on him this week, but we're expecting Watson to play vs. the Patriots on Sunday.
