Diego Pavia Gets Deal Instead of Tryout
The Ravens had planned to have former Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia try out this weekend, but that plan changed Tuesday. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the team has instead signed Pavia to a three-year deal. That contract's unlikely to actually lock Pavia in with Baltimore for the next three years and probably won't even guarantee that he sticks around for this season. (Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team points out that "all undrafted free agent contracts are 3-year deals.") But the change likely indicates that the QB had other interested suitors.
