Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He still has work to do to clear protocol in time for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins. We'll keep you updated on Higgins' progress over the next few days.

Chargers WR Quentin Johnston (groin) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He went down in last Friday's practice and then missed the Chiefs game, but it looks like he has a chance to make it back for this weekend's game vs. the Cowboys. Johnston's return would take WR Tre Harris out of deep-league consideration.

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. He picked up a knee issue as he was rehabbing his hamstring injury back in November, although it's unclear if this is related. We'll see if Kincaid is able to get back on the field tomorrow, ahead of Sunday's game vs. the Browns.

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (foot, ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He seemed to make it out of last week's loss to the Saints fine, so we're still expecting him to play against the Buccaneers on Sunday. But we'll keep you updated on McMillan's status over the next few days.

Bears RB D'Andre Swift was added to the injury report with a groin and limited in practice on Wednesday. We don't have any other info on his status right now. We'll see if Swift practices tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report for Saturday's game vs. the Packers. His absence would turn RB Kyle Monangai into a workhorse -- and a must-start in fantasy lineups.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (stinger) returned to a full practice on Wednesday. He should be ready for his usual role vs. the Commanders on Saturday. We'll see how Barkley is listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Rams WR Davante Adams (hamstring, knee) is listed as doubtful for Thursday night's game vs. the Seahawks. The team is keeping the door open for Adams to play if that hammy makes a big improvement over the next 24 hours, but he's clearly a long shot. It's a huge loss for the Rams' passing game. Adams ranks second to WR Puka Nacua with 60 catches and 789 receiving yards but easily leads the team with 14 receiving scores. Los Angeles is left with WRs Konata Mumpfield, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington, and Xavier Smith behind Nacua. TE Colby Parkinson might be the second-best bet for targets against Seattle. TEs Terrance Ferguson and Davis Allen could also play bigger roles in the passing game.

Packers WR Christian Watson (chest, shoulder) got in a limited practice on Wednesday and suggested afterward that he expects to play vs. the Bears on Saturday night. “It’s feeling pretty good for everything considered, so I think it’ll be alright for the game," Watson said. "We’re at the point in the season where you gotta fight through some stuff, so should be good.” We'll see how Watson is listed on Thursday's final injury report. He'll carry elevated risk if he does suit up but will still belong in plenty of Week 16 fantasy lineups.

Jets QB Brady Cook will start this weekend's game vs. the Saints, HC Aaron Glenn said Wednesday. We assume this means QBs Tyrod Taylor and Justin Fields' injuries will keep them out again -- because there's no reason for the Jets to willingly go back to Cook. He mustered just 176 yards on 5.3 yards per attempt in the Week 15 loss to the Jaguars. RB Breece Hall is the only Jet to crack fantasy-starter territory in our Week 16 rankings.

Chiefs WR Rashee Rice is in concussion protocol and won't practice on Wednesday, HC Andy Reid said. Rice finished out the Week 15 loss to the Chargers but must have reported symptoms sometime since. He's now unlikely to play vs. the Titans on Sunday, removing a huge chunk of Kansas City's passing game. Since returning in Week 7, Rice has accounted for:

• 26.5% of the team's targets
• 29.4% of the catches
• 29.0% of the receiving yards
• 45.5% of the receiving TDs

Rice's absence would free up a bunch of opportunity for guys like WR Xavier Worthy and TE Travis Kelce. But it's tough to get too excited about anything in this Gardner Minshew-led passing game.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Miami Dolphins have benched QB Tua Tagovailoa and will start seventh-round rookie Quinn Ewers against the Bengals. The news doesn't come as a shock, following Miami's Monday night loss to Pittsburgh that officially eliminated the Dolphins from playoff contention. HC Mike McDaniel opened the door for the move after the game, saying the QB play wasn't good enough and "everything is on the table."

Rams WR Davante Adams (hamstring) did not practice on Tuesday. "We’ll give him every chance that he’s got," HC Sean McVay said. "We’ll take it a day at a time. We’ll take it all the way up to game time." We'd be very surprised if Adams was able to play vs. the Seahawks on Thursday, four days after the hamstring injury. But we'll update his status again tomorrow.

Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez (groin) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice. That puts him on track to play vs. the Eagles on Saturday. Rodriguez had been operating as Washington's lead back before missing Week 15, but we're curious to see if RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt's strong showing in that one earned him a bigger role. Try to avoid this backfield in Week 16 fantasy lineups.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (stinger) did not practice on Tuesday. He seemed to come out of last week's win over the Raiders OK, so we're guessing this is more early-week rest than a worrisome injury. We'll see if Barkley gets back on the field tomorrow, ahead of Saturday's game vs. the Commanders. RB Tank Bigsby would be the best fantasy bet if Barkley did miss that one.

Packers WR Christian Watson (chest, shoulder) did not practice on Tuesday. Watson reportedly dodged a serious injury but remains iffy for Saturday's game vs. the Bears. "We’ll give him up to game time to see if he can go," HC Matt LaFleur said today. WR Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) was also sidelined on Tuesday.

Bears WRs Rome Odunze (foot) and Luther Burden (ankle) were listed as non-participants on Tuesday's injury report. The team just had a walkthrough on the short week, but it's not a good start for their chances of playing vs. the Packers on Saturday. Burden seems to have a better chance to play than Odunze, but fantasy managers shouldn't be counting on either in Week 16 lineups at this point.

The Bills signed K Michael Badgley to their practice squad. He's the likely replacement for K Matt Prater, who's sidelined with a quad injury. Badgley made 10 of 11 FGs for the Colts earlier this season and owns a decent 83% career conversion rate. He could be a viable Week 16 fantasy start with the Bills big favorites over the Browns. We'll just need to keep an eye on the weather in Cleveland for that one.

The Cardinals placed RB Bam Knight on IR with the ankle injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Texans. He's the third Arizona RB to be lost for the season, following James Conner and Trey Benson. The backfield is now down to Michael Carter and Emari Demercado. Carter dominated work in Houston, tallying 14 carries and four targets to Demercado's one carry and three targets. We're expecting Demercado to be a bit more involved the rest of the way, but Carter is the far superior fantasy bet. And he gets nice matchups the next two weeks vs. the Falcons (19th vs. RBs) and Bengals (32nd).

Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd suffered an additional hamstring injury in recent days in an attempt to return to the field. Lloyd’s 21-day return window had been activated last week and he began practicing with the team. The additional setback for Lloyd could cost him the rest of the season, though the timeline for his return is currently uncertain.

Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell led Pittsburgh’s backfield in Week 15, totaling 126 yards on 20 touches vs. Miami. Jaylen Warren -- who carried a questionable (illness) designation -- managed only 48 yards on 15 attempts.
