Bears DE Shea McClellin (hamstring) is doubtful for Sunday's matchup with Detroit. It's a shame after a breakthrough performance against the Packers on Monday night that garnered him NFC defensive player of the week honors. Chicago's short on D-linemen of fantasy interest, and the team D doesn't excite us against the Lions.
Bears LB Shea McClellin (concussion) is inactive for today's game against the Bucs. He doesn't leave any strong IDP option in his place.
Bears LB Shea McClellin encountered delayed concussion symptoms after Sunday's loss to the Vikings, according to ESPN.com. He has now entered the league concussion protocol. We'll see if he's ready to play Sunday at Tampa Bay. McClellin has become a nice tackle producer in recent weeks.
Bears DE Shea McClellin returned to practice Wednesday after missing the past 2 games with a strained right hamstring. He, of course, enjoyed a huge game last time he took the field: 5 tackles and 3 sacks vs. the Packers to earn NFC defensive player of the week honors. McClellin's an upside athlete, but he hadn't posted a sack since Week 1 before that dominating Week 9. He's a fringe roster option at best in most IDP leagues, especially before he proves that hamstring is all the way back.
