Cardinals add Gresham

The Cardinals have signed TE Jermaine Gresham.  The former Bengal needed offseason back surgery, but Arizona is clearly satisfied with his recovery so far.  Gresham caught 62 balls last year but averaged just 7.4 yards per catch.  His career average sits at 9.7.  There's not much physical upside here, and Gresham will now be battling Troy Niklas for targets in an offense that doesn't feature the TE in its passing game.  Neither Cardinal TE is worth drafting in standard-sized fantasy leagues.

Cardinals TE Jermaine Gresham (illness) is out for Sunday's game against the Redskins. That presumably means that TE Ricky Seals-Jones will see an uptick in snaps, making him a more intriguing Week 15 flier in a plus matchup. Washington ranks 31st in fantasy points allowed to TEs.

Cardinals TE Jermaine Gresham (ribs) is active for tonight's game against the Cowboys. He's not much of a fantasy option, but his availability is good news for QB Carson Palmer and the rest of the offense.

Cardinals TE Jermaine Gresham is questionable for Monday night's game with a rib injury. Gresham missed Week 2 with the ailment but put in limited practices all week. He's not worth waiting for in any but the deepest of fantasy football leagues this time around.
