Lions LB DeAndre Levy will likely miss Sunday's game against the Titans because of a quad injury. He's officially doubtful after sitting out practice all week. It's a particularly disappointing (early) development for a player who missed basically all of last season with a hip injury. Levy's absence can only help the tackle upside of MLB Tahir Whitehead, while it hurts the Lions D overall.

The Lions will release OLB DeAndre Levy, according to multiple reports. Levy appeared in just 6 total games over the past 2 years while dealing with multiple lower-body injuries. He'll turn 30 this month, but we'd bet on him getting another shot at a greatly reduced salary.

We're not adding him to our Week 14 LB rankings, because it's impossible to know just how much Levy would see the field if he plays. "All indications are that he’ll be back in some sort of part-time capacity," according to the Free Press. It's a bit late in the season for IDP owners to keep fingers crossed for squeezing any value out of Levy, but we'll see what happens. His return should help a Lions D that has seemed to improve from bad to possibly OK during this season.

A healthy Levy has top-10 fantasy scoring potential at his position. We'll see if we get anything close to that again this season.
