Ravens add Donnell

The Ravens have signed TE Larry Donnell. Averaging 8.8 yards per catch for his career, Donnell is no better than a replacement-level talent. There's opportunity in Baltimore's Dennis Pitta-less TE corps, though. Donnell will compete with Maxx Williams, Ben Watson and Nick Boyle for playing time. (Crockett Gillmore hurt his knee on Friday.) We'll keep an eye on this battle, but the winner will be no more than a low-end TE2 in fantasy.

Giants TE Larry Donnell (concussion) practiced all week and is not listed on the team's final injury report. He'll resume sharing TE duties with Will Tye against the Ravens this weekend, making both guys poor fantasy bets.

Giants TE Larry Donnell (neck) has been placed on IR.  He's been out since Week 9.  After a breakout 2014 campaign, Donnell's numbers dropped across the board this season.  He finishes with a 29-223-2 line in 8 games.  Will Tye will serve as New York's lead TE the rest of the way.  He's hauled in 14 balls for 200 yards over his past 3 games but remains a low-upside TE2.
