Johnson expected to miss "extended period of time"

Cardinals RB David Johnson is expected to miss an "extended period of time" with the wrist injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Lions, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Getting more opinions, but an IR candidate," Rapoport adds. It's unclear if Johnson would be out for the season or a "designated-to-return" candidate. The Saints signed RB David Johnson to the active roster. He'll help New Orleans replace RB Mark Ingram, who's likely to miss the rest of the season with an MCL injury. We wouldn't bother adding Johnson to fantasy rosters even as an Alvin Kamara handcuff. RB Dwayne Washington is also on the active roster.
