The Bills have signed TE Tyler Kroft to a 3-year, $18.75 million deal. It (laughably) makes Kroft the league's 15th highest-paid TE in average annual salary. The 2015 3rd-rounder caught 42 balls and scored 7 TDs back in 2017 but has totaled just 25 grabs and 1 score in his other 37 career games. He tested as a 37th percentile athlete at the 2015 Combine. We were hoping the Bills would give WR-turned-TE Jason Croom a shot to win the lead job, but Kroft's contract makes him the heavy favorite. He remains an unexciting fantasy option.
Bills TE Tyler Kroft (foot) is inactive for today’s game against the Giants. TE Dawson Knox will again serve as Buffalo’s primary pass-catching TE but isn’t a fantasy option.
Bills TE Tyler Kroft (foot) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Giants after a limited week of practice. It’s an upgrade from last week, when he was listed as doubtful. We’ll see if Kroft is ready to make his Bills debut this weekend, but he shouldn’t be in fantasy lineups.
Bills TE Tyler Kroft (foot) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Jets. He was able to get in 3 limited practices this week, so perhaps Kroft will be ready to make his Bills debut in Week 2. Rookie Dawson Knox figures to serve as Buffalo’s lead pass-catching TE in the opener but isn’t a fantasy option.
Bills TE Tyler Kroft broke his foot in Monday's OTA session and will undergo surgery, HC Sean McDermott said. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Kroft is expected to be sidelined 3-4 months. That'd have him back right around the start of the season -- although foot injuries come with an elevated risk of setbacks. We'll track Kroft's progress this summer, but he wasn't much of a fantasy option to begin with. Rookie Dawson Knox and Jason Croom are behind Kroft on the depth chart and will now get extended run in August.
Bengals TE Tyler Kroft (foot) is out for Sunday's game against the Steelers. That strengthens the case for TE C.J. Uzomah as a Week 6 spot starter. He played 92% of the offensive snaps last week and ran a route on 28 of QB Andy Dalton’s 32 dropbacks. Pittsburgh has allowed the most receptions, 2nd most yards and 3rd most TDs to TEs.
