Titans WR Corey Davis (hip) is inactive for today’s game against the Chiefs. WR A.J. Brown, WR Adam Humphries and TE Jonnu Smith will serve as Tennessee’s top 3 options in the passing game.
Jets WR Corey Davis (shoulder) is ready for the start of training camp on Wednesday, according to The Athletic's Connor Hughes. Davis hurt his shoulder at a May OTA session and didn't do much in minicamp. But it looks like a non-issue now. Davis is coming off a strong 2020 season and got paid like a #1 WR by the Jets in free agency. He's a value at his WR54 ADP.
Jets WR Corey Davis suffered what's believed to be a minor shoulder injury at OTAs on Thursday, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports. Dr. James Andrews is taking a look at Davis' scans to confirm the diagnosis. This doesn't sound like something that'll impact Davis' 2021 season, but we'll keep an eye on it. He's missed 8 games through 4 NFL seasons.
The Jets and WR Corey Davis agreed to a 3-year, $37.5 million deal with $27 million guaranteed, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Davis had an up-and-down 4 seasons in Tennessee but is coming off a career-best 65-984-5 line. He ranked 5th in yards per route run among 84 WRs with 50+ targets. We'll credit OC Arthur Smith for some of that, but Davis has never lacked ability. It's why he was the 5th overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. And he remains in his prime at just 26 years old. New York isn't an ideal landing spot, with new OC Mike LaFleur and the QB spot standing as question marks. But Davis has the potential to carve out a big target share. He figures to be joining Jamison Crowder and Denzel Mims in the Jets' 3-WR set.
The Titans have activated WR Corey Davis off the COVID list. That makes him available for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh. Davis has seen 8, 5 and 6 targets in his 3 games so far this season. He'll be in contention for at least WR4-level usage in fantasy lineups for Week 7.
Titans WR Adam Humphries was activated from the COVID list this week. WR Corey Davis has not been and isn’t expected to play vs. the Texans on Sunday. WR A.J. Brown and TE Jonnu Smith should continue to dominate targets for Tennessee.
