NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Ravens RB Mark Ingram is dealing with "tightness" in his injured calf. He practiced last week but was sidelined on Tuesday. "Pulled back to avoid re-injury," Rapoport adds. "He still has a chance to play the Titans on Saturday." We'll obviously keep a close eye on this over the next few days. Gus Edwards will serve as lead back, with rookie Justice Hill as the #2, if Ingram misses the Divisional Round game.
The Texans have agreed to a 1-year deal with RB Mark Ingram, worth "up to" $3 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Ingram will join a backfield that currently includes David Johnson, Buddy Howell, Dontrell Hilliard and Scottie Phillips. We'll see whether Houston adds anything else to the group. Perhaps more importantly, we're all still waiting to see who will QB the Texans this fall. Ingram's arrival makes it even easier to remain unexcited about Johnson in current best-ball drafting. Ingram rated below average in Football Outsiders rushing DVOA last season and drew a career-low 6.5 carries per game with the run-heavy Ravens, though. There's a chance he doesn't make any impact in 2021.
The Ravens released RB Mark Ingram. The move was a no-brainer, with Ingram due to make $5 million in 2021. The 31-year-old ranked near the bottom of the league in missed tackles forced and yards after contact per attempt this past season and was a healthy scratch for most of the games down the stretch. He figures to latch on elsewhere at least for training camp this summer but isn't a good bet for a 2021 fantasy impact. J.K. Dobbins is set to enter next season as Baltimore's lead back. We'll see if the Ravens bring back restricted free agent Gus Edwards and/or make any other additions to the backfield.
Ravens RB Mark Ingram is a healthy scratch for today's game against the Jaguars. He had fallen to 4th on the depth chart last week, playing just 1 snap. So there's not much of a fantasy impact here. J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill will again serve as Baltimore's top 3 RBs today.
The Ravens have activated RB Mark Ingram and DE Calais Campbell from the COVID list. That makes both players eligible for Tuesday night's game against the Cowboys. Ingram logged just 2 carries last time he played -- against Tennessee -- while J.K. Dobbins led the backfield with 15 rushes and claimed both RB targets. Campbell hasn't played since Week 9, when he left early with a calf injury. Dallas presents a high-upside matchup for him in IDP leagues.
Ravens RB Mark Ingram (ankle) is active for tonight’s game against the Patriots. We like Baltimore’s running game to have a big one vs. a New England squad sitting 31st in Football Outsiders’ run defense DVOA, but it’s completely unclear how the RB touches will be divvied after Ingram missed the the past 2 games.
