The Chiefs and TE Travis Kelce have agreed to a 4-year extension -- just hours after TE George Kittle got a new deal from the 49ers. Kelce is reportedly getting about $14 million per year, which trails the $15 million Kittle received. That makes sense considering Kittle is 26 while Kelce is 30. Of course, Kelce has still led all TEs in fantasy points in 4 straight seasons. He's now tied to the Chiefs and QB Patrick Mahomes through the 2025 campaign.
Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (neck) is not listed on the final injury report. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday. Kelce should play his usual role on Sunday against the Titans.
Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (neck) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We've heard nothing to suggest that he's in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. Tennessee, but check back tomorrow to see how he's listed on the final injury report.
Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (neck) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He got banged up in last week's win over Washington but was able to return and looked just fine. He should be ready for Sunday's game vs. the Titans, but we'll update his status again tomorrow.
Chiefs TE Travis Kelce suffered a "stinger" on a hard hit late in Sunday night's loss to the Bills, HC Andy Reid told reporters after the game. That's a generally minor injury to the neck/shoulder area. We'll watch Kelce's status this week but don't expect his availability to be threatened for a Week 6 trip to Washington, barring some change in the diagnosis.
