The Dolphins released WR Preston Williams. He's been on the roster bubble since Miami's new coaching staff traded for WR Tyreek Hill and signed WR Cedrick Wilson this offseason. It looks like the Dolphins will open the season with Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Wilson and Trent Sherfield as their top 4 WRs.
The Dolphins are re-signing WR Preston Williams to a 1-year deal, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Williams totaled just 16 targets across 8 games last season and isn't likely to turn fantasy relevant in an offense that has since added WR Cedrick Wilson and RB Chase Edmonds and franchise-tagged TE Mike Gesicki.
Dolphins WR Preston Williams did not travel with the team to Buffalo and is out for Sunday's game vs. the Bills. He wasn't listed on Friday's injury report, so it's unclear what happened here. William, of course, shouldn't have been in your fantasy plans.
