Nick Bosa Likely Out 'a Few Weeks'
Niners Edge Nick Bosa injured a calf in practice this week and is expected to miss "a few weeks," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The team reportedly hasn't decided yet whether to place Bosa on IR.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft caught just 4 of 8 targets for 26 yards in Thursday night’s loss to the Falcons. That came in a game in which QB Jordan Love chucked it 53 times for 312 yards. Kraft’s 8 targets ranked third on the team but were an underwhelming 15.1% share. He finished fourth in receiving yards, behind WRs Matthew Golden, Christian Watson, and Skyy Moore. All four of Kraft’s catches came near the line of scrimmage and resulted in very little after-catch yardage. Love and Kraft failed to connect on a wheel route deep ball in the second quarter, and Kraft had 2 straight drops in the fourth quarter.
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels will not be placed on IR with his dislocated left elbow, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Daniels has spent the week consulting with specialists on his injury and seemingly got good news. He's considered "week to week" going forward, per Schefter.
The Michael Penix-led Falcons exploded for 35 points in Thursday night's win over the Packers. Surely TE Kyle Pitts got on track, right? Right? Nope. Pitts finished with 1 catch for 5 yards. His 2 targets tied with 5 other Falcons for third on the team, behind WRs Drake London and Jahan Dotson. London and RB Bijan Robinson were the engines of the offense, combining for 407 of Atlanta's 498 total yards (82%). Pitts was a total afterthought.
Falcons WR Drake London exploded for 9 catches and 194 yards in Thursday night’s win over the Packers. Amazing what viable QB play can do! After totaling just 6 catches and 80 yards from QB Cooper Rush over the first 2 games of the season, London got a nice outing from QB Michael Penix in his 2026 debut. Penix completed 18 of 25 passes (72%) for 256 yards (10.2 YPA), 1 TD, and 1 INT. London accounted for 40% of Atlanta’s targets, 36% of the receptions, and 76% of the receiving yards. A blown coverage led to a 68-yard catch-and-run early in the fourth quarter. Then London capped his night with a 40-yard contested catch over DB Evan Williams.
Broncos RBs J.K. Dobbins (hip) and R.J. Harvey (hamstring) were upgraded to full participants in Thursday's practice. RB Jonah Coleman (ankle) remained sidelined. It's looking like it'll be Dobbins and Harvey in Denver's backfield vs. the Rams this weekend. They'll both be in play as RB3 or flex options.
Jets WR Adonai Mitchell was added to the injury report with a finger and limited in practice on Thursday. We'll need to wait for Friday's finale injury report to find out if he's in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Lions. Mitchell was shaping up as a nice fantasy spot starter in that plus matchup. Stay tuned.
After getting in a limited workout on Wednesday, Panthers WR Jalen Coker (ankle) did not practice on Thursday. This could just be a rest day for the ankle injury he's been battling since the opener, but Coker's status will be worth checking on when we get Carolina's final injury report on Friday afternoon.
Eagles WR DeVonta Smith missed Thursday's practice with a hamstring injury. We don't have any other details on the issue after Smith seemed to make it out of Week 2 healthy. He has an extra day to get ready for Monday night's game vs. the Bears. We'll update Smith's status again tomorrow.
Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) was limited for the second straight practice on Thursday. He's fully expected to make his 2026 debut vs. the Saints this weekend, but it'd be nice to see him get in a full practice on Friday.
Titans RB Tony Pollard (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That should have him on track to play vs. the Giants this weekend. RB Tyjae Spears (ankle) is in danger of missing that one after remaining sidelined on Thursday. His absence would boost Pollard's Week 3 outlook, particularly in terms of targets. Check back tomorrow for another update on this backfield.
Ravens WR Zay Flowers (hamstring) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Flowers is traveling with the team to Brazil, so he's no ruled out yet for Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys. Fantasy owners still shouldn't be counting on Flowers in Week 3 lineups, but we'll update his status again tomorrow.
Vikings RB Aaron Jones (knee) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. It looks like he'll try to gut through his knee injury this weekend for a Minnesota backfield that could really use him. Jones got workhorse usage last week, but it's tough to envision the same workload vs. the Buccaneers this Sunday. We'll update Jones' status again tomorrow and keep an eye on him through the weekend.
Bills WR D.J. Moore (shoulder) did not practice on Thursday. That follows a limited practice on Wednesday. It's unclear if Moore suffered a setback or if this was a planned day off. WR Keon Coleman (ankle) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. We'll see how both guys are listed on Friday's final injury report.
Bears QBs Caleb Williams (hamstring) and Tyson Bagent (concussion) did not practice on Thursday. Both guys are unlikely to play vs. the Eagles on Monday night. That'd leave Chicago down to third-string QB Case Keenum. The 38-year-old last played a regular-season snap in 2023 for the Texans. He averaged 5.5 yards per pass attempt with 1 TD and 3 INTs that year. None of the Bears catchers are reliable fantasy starts this week, particularly against a tough Eagles secondary.
Bears RB Kyle Monangai (knee) did not practice on Thursday. We don't have any other details, although it's worth remembering that Monangai missed time in August with a hyperextended knee. We'll see if he gets back on the field tomorrow, ahead of Monday night's game vs. the Eagles. His absence would turn RB D'Andre Swift into a workhorse.
Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (stinger) expects to play vs. the Bears on Monday night, insider Jeff McLane hears. Barkley was on the field for the start of Thursday's practice. We'll see if he's listed as limited or full on the official injury report and continue to track Barkley's status over the next few days. But he can be penciled into Week 3 fantasy lineups for now.
Giants WR Malik Nabers said Thursday that he got "good results" on the x-ray on his right shoulder. We assumed as much after he got in a limited practice on Wednesday. Nabers is on track to play vs. the Titans this weekend but will likely carry some re-injury risk after he said his shoulder popped out during the Rams game. That, of course, is on top of the right knee he's working back from. Nabers lands just 22nd in our Week 3 WR rankings.
49ers WR Mike Evans (hip) has a "good chance" to play against the Cardinals this weekend, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Evans missed the end of last week's easy win over the Dolphins and did not practice on Wednesday. But this seems like another case of the Niners playing it safe with their veteran WR. We're tentatively projecting Evans to be available for Week 3 fantasy lineups but will keep you updated on his status over the next few days.
Seahawks HC Mike Macdonald said QB Sam Darnold (glute) is "on a good track" to play vs. the Commanders this weekend. Darnold was officially limited in practice on Wednesday and is expected to ramp up his work in the final two practices of the week. QB Drew Lock has played well in relief, but Darnold's return is still good news for WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the rest of Seattle's offense.
