Bhayshul Tuten A Game-Time Decision For Week 9

Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten (ankle, foot) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens after missing practice all week. HC Liam Coen said Wednesday morning that Tuten will be a game-time decision. We'll get Jacksonville's inactives around 7 pm ET tomorrow. Don't expect a full workload for Tuten if he plays, and he'll be at risk of re-injury. RB Chris Rodriguez is a viable RB3 or flex play with a banged-up Tuten and would climb into our top-20 RBs if Tuten is out.

Eagles Trying Joe Milton At QB

The Eagles are benching QB Tanner McKee for QB Joe Milton vs. the Giants this weekend, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. McKee mustered just 5.6 yards per attempt with 2 TDs and 2 INTs against the Panthers, Cowboys, and Commanders over the last three weeks. Sunday will mark Milton's first career start after backing up Drake Maye in 2024 and Dak Prescott last year.

        TreVeyon Henderson Out Again Wednesday

Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson remains away from the team with his illness, HC Mike Vrabel said Wednesday. Henderson has been sidelined for six days now, which is longer than most players miss with illnesses. He could be dealing with something relatively serious, but we've also heard Henderson's name whispered as a potential trade candidate ahead of next week's deadline. We'll keep you updated, but don't plan on using Henderson in Week 9 fantasy lineups.

        A.J. Brown Still Out Wednesday

Patriots WR A.J. Brown (knee, ankle) won't practice on Wednesday, HC Mike Vrabel said. Brown missed Week 8 after his troublesome knee flared up, and this isn't a good start for his chances of returning for Sunday's game against the Packers. We'll keep you updated on Brown's status over the next few days, but fantasy managers should not be counting on him in Week 9 lineups.

Breece Hall Trending Toward Week 9 Return

Jets RB Breece Hall (quad) is "trending in the right direction" to play vs. the Chiefs this weekend, HC Aaron Glenn said Wednesday. Hall will remain limited in practice today, though. He seemed close to playing last week, so we're tentatively expecting him back for this Sunday's game. But we'll keep you updated on Hall's status, as well as New York's plans for splitting touches between him and RB Braelon Allen.

Garrett Wilson's Concussion Makes Him Likely To Miss Week 9

Jets WR Garrett Wilson is in concussion protocol, HC Aaron Glenn announced Wednesday. It's unclear exactly when Wilson was diagnosed with the head injury, but it was sometime after this past weekend's loss to the Raiders. That leaves him unlikely to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs. Wilson's absence would leave behind 26.4% of Jets targets, opening up a lot of opportunity for WRs Omar Cooper and Adonai Mitchell, as well as New York's TEs and RBs.

Jack Campbell Sounds Like He's Done for the Season

Lions LB Jack Campbell left Sunday's win over the Vikings on a stretcher after a scary neck injury. He and the team have declined to reveal details about the injury, but Campbell released a lengthy statement through the team Wednesday. The tone -- unsurprisingly -- sounds like a player with no designs on returning to the field this season.

Tyler Huntley Out For The Season

Ravens QB Tyler Huntley needs surgery on his turf toe and will miss the rest of the season, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. QB Lamar Jackson (thumb) is out for at least the next four games and "likely" for the rest of the season, leaving Baltimore with QBs Joe Fagnano, Austin Reed, and Kedon Slovis. That's a completely illegitimate QB room. We'll see if the the Ravens make a move before the deadline. QBs Jacoby Brissett and Case Keenum (who worked with OC Declan Doyle last year) could be options.

        Mack Hollins Nearing A Return

Patriots WR Mack Hollins will return to practice on Wednesday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Hollins has been on IR since injuring his calf in Week 4. He's eligible to return for Sunday's game vs. the Packers, but we'll need to watch how he progresses throughout the week. Hollins averaged 5.3 targets, 4.0 catches, and 52 yards over the first three games, running a route on 69% of pass plays. He's not an exciting fantasy option, but his return would help a Patriots WR corps dealing with injuries to A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs.

Bhayshul Tuten Out Tuesday With Pair Of Injuries

Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten (ankle, foot) has missed the first two practices of the week. We noticed him hobble off early in Sunday's win over the Colts, but he returned and had a huge game. We'll see how Tuten is listed on tomorrow's final injury report. His absence would leave RB Chris Rodriguez in the lead role in a great spot vs. the Joe Fagnano-led Ravens. Jacksonville is currently a 10-point favorite.

Joe Fagnano Healthy Enough To Start Week 9

Ravens QB Joe Fagnano will start Thursday night's game vs. the Jaguars, HC Jesse Minter announced. Fagnano came out of the Bills loss with a right ankle injury and was wearing a brace in Tuesday's practice. But he's evidently healthy enough to get the nod over QBs Austin Reed and Kedon Slovis. Fagnano went undrafted this spring after a seven-year college career that started at Maine and ended at UConn. He completed 61.9% of his passes at 7.6 yards per attempt as a student athlete. Fagnano simply isn't an NFL-caliber passer and figures to sink Baltimore's offense. Zay Flowers is the only Ravens pass catcher in play for Week 9 fantasy lineups, and he lands in WR3 territory in our rankings.

Jeremiyah Love Heading To IR With High-Ankle Sprain

Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love will be placed on IR with a high-ankle sprain suffered in the Week 8 win over the Cowboys, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That knocks Love out for at least the next four games, but Rapoport says the rookie is expected to miss 4-5 weeks. The long end of that timetable would extend through Week 13. Arizona then gets a Week 14 bye. Don't be surprised if Love is held out until Week 15. He's fine to stash in fantasy leagues with deep benches and/or IR spots, but Love is a drop candidate in shallower leagues. RBs Tyler Allgeier and Bam Knight will resume splitting the backfield in the meantime, once Knight is cleared from his concussion.

Jadarian Price Returns From IR to Lead Seahawks Backfield

Jadarian Price returned from IR to lead the Seahawks backfield with 10 carries. He turned it into a team-high 29 rushing yards while adding 8 more yards on 2 receptions to finish with 5.7 PPR points. His fringe RB3 finish against the Bears defense remains a promising sign for the first-round rookie in just his fourth career game.

Luther Burden Burns Seattle for 7-56-1 and Another WR1 Week

Luther Burden matched TE Colston Loveland for the team lead in targets, hauling in seven of nine for 56 yards and a TD. He finished with 18.6 PPR points against a Seahawks defense that had allowed more than 18 PPR points to just two WRs prior. Burden ranks as a WR1 for a consecutive week.
